The Wellspring

My thoughts - as words - sputter as they’re eked out from my wellspring of imagination. Phrases become rhymed and metered lines that start gushing as I pump them into poems.

I'm going to concentrate on your poems that you wrote when i was away for 4 month last year!! starting with this gem, i've just seen your "I Pine" and asked a question, i think this wonderful poem gives me the answer. what a coincidence i should arrive here at this moment, are you psychic as well?

Andrea I got the greatest meds for pain.. should help your arm neck and back .. I take it when arthritis flares up .. 800 mgs. of Ibuprofin prescribed by doc.. it is magical.. nothing like over the counter aspirin..they do nothing for my aches and pains mostly in my bones... last time I was there he gave them to me and it has helped so much..luv..

Congrats on placing in the contest. I hear what your are saying these last few weeks have been a real downer. Need to go and find a new car as they wrote off ours. What to get and how much money to spend. We just spent lots on doing the siding on the house. love phyl

A winner by title alone, I really love the title of this poem as it is so fitting for that internal source, that fountain of the imagination. Lovely poem, congratulations on your win.

Sometimes we need a little help sputtering out the words, but you never are at a loss for imagination, Andrea. I thought poems was two syllables, but I guess it can be pronounced either way. Best wishes in Michael's contest! Love, Carolyn
