From the smallest of handbells to bells that are heavy,
bells of all types make a large bevy.
Small bells are often the tinkling kind
like decorative ones in some stores we find.
There are ring-a-ling bells and bells that jingle
like jingle bells ringing when merry folks mingle.
Sleigh bells on horses evoke for me
lovely white wonderland imagery.
Other small bells women wear round their ankles.
An alarm bell that wakens me, oh, how it rankles.
There are waist bells the belly dancers often will wear
while big bells on churches call people to prayer.
Some bells sound randomly; others on queue.
There are bike bells, school bells, and cow bells too.
Of bells that chime melodies, there's more than a few.
That's what the bells called Carillon do.
Bell bottom jeans were used back in my day
and Hell's bells is an expletive some say.
The most famous bell, what might it be?
I think it's the one that's called Liberty!

"...push the sides apart
this is what I'm controlling
it's a mold
the inside that I carve"
"I seem to have loved you
in numberless forms,
numberless times…
In life after life,
in age after age,
forever.
My spellbound heart
has made and remade
the necklace of songs,
That you take as a gift,
wear round your neck
in your many forms,
In life after life,
in age after age,
forever...."

I must confess, I've undressed you, in my mind
Even made love, while thinking of you
The halo you wear round your finger
Ties the binds that I can't undo
He holds your hand
While I want your heart
Our souls feel alone
When we're apart
If loving you's wrong
Why does it feel so right
Slip off your halo tonight
I'm a man who tries to live by the right hand
But temptation, may cause me to burn
My angel's been taken by another
And I'm not sure, which way to turn
My conscious is guilty
Each I love you a ruse
Cause I know they should all be
Directed towards you
Shall we head on a journey
Where we turn out the lights
Slip off your halo tonight
My love, my lust, my want and my trust
All sit here waiting to prove
We've lost a lot of our past
It's time that we can't get back
So slip off your halo tonight
Did you think of me, when you said I do
The same way that I, imagined it's you
We both know how we're living
Maybe someday we might
Slip off our halos tonight
Let's slip, off our halos tonight...
In this the sheltered home of druids birth
Is played a symphony of mother earth
As stones wear round amid the sound
Of ever dancing whirling waters
The green woods whisper sad laments
As raining tears are heaven sent
And Druid Shades in seed await
To see the grasping greed abate
With patience only stones can know
In streams and dreams of sweetness bent
Reflective polished thoughts content
Finished surface shining brightly
Like hopes and dreams recurring nightly
As lunar currents levy toll
Recalls enthrall and thrill my soul
I still and hear the cymric waters
Rolling stones for druid daughters
Down all the hills in rills of song
Where else would druids e'er belong?
