rolling river
murmurs and whispers ~
waterfall wonder
the colorful leaves
wind blown over the small pond
those that fall in, float
Feathery white lines
cotton wool stretched across thin
folding and rolling
A desperate gasp
explosion damp and muffled
march of the pebbles
blue tiles shimmering, e

splish splash of f l a p p i n g hands r
echoes fill the pool
sun sinking in the west
a calm chartreuse pond
two canadian honkers make their approuch
Water equals life.

drink from the same
water the horse drink from
do not worry
tides flow in then out
waves appear then disappear
rhythms of nature
tadpoles in the stream
swimming zigzag everywhere
frogs are soon to be
frog on lily pad
out shoots the tongue
tasty fly now gone
Red hourglasses
drawn thin and narrow waisted
sparkling motes fall
a freshly mown lawn
the clippings become new mulch
the grass will thrive now
bird in the birdbath
chirping and splashing water
now more birds join in
a crab sheds his shell
vulnerable for six weeks
a new shell appears
stronger than ever
he struts across the beach sand
less vulnerable
