WARMED BY SPRING

Spring is like a violin with its bow
My heart warms with brandy glow
My feet float untethered

Death Warmed Over

Pumice! my throat cried!
:flames where words
should always BE!
/trembled this world,

death warmed OvEr
  incredible!how the
ground cries & …skies
weep these Eternal Crystals
of Truth!

Warmed By Wool

Stitched in yarns of neutral gray,
I fashion a robe from wool
To cover me against icy breeze
And by donning a smaller size,
The wrap becomes a tight hug.

Sitting alone by the fire
Warming my newly bared toes,
I remember the days
When by fireplace and blaze
We’d gather and cuddle so close.

We poured corn in the long-handled popper,
Sometimes roasted marshmallows too.
We’d play silly games
Sitting there by the flames,
Myself, our sweet baby and you.

Those long ago memories now warm me
Even more than the flames of the fire.
We had little money
But when you called me Honey
Our spirits could not have been higher.

I’m so glad we could not see the future
When I would be here all-alone.
That sweet precious time
When we hadn’t a dime
Was the happiest I’ve ever known.

They Say Love Is Hot-We Are Just Getting Warmed Up

Before I met you, I had a cold heart,
Then your love gave me a different chill;
A chill that shivers through my body still,
When I think about how you play your part.
You keep providing me with a fresh start,
Since your love has given me such a thrill.
You love me the way nobody else will,
So I have been affected by your dart.
I want to touch you like you have touched me,
Satisfying your flesh every night.
Discover how perfect my touch can be,
As I discover how to touch you right.
Let my soul touch your soul, and you will see
I am yours. So, you do not have to fight.

Death Warmed Up

The Reaper looks ever so poorly
The Reaper looks ever so grim
But then it is hardly surprising
He really is terribly thin

With his job there’s no time for dinner
He looks like he’s dead on his feet
He really is ever so busy
And doesn’t get much time to eat

It’s about time he had an assistant
Some help is what’s needed, and quick
If he does not start, looking after himself
He’s going to end up quite sick

So if his employers are listening
And they don’t want to get into trouble
Make sure he takes all his mealtimes and breaks
But do it tout suite, at the double

Warmed By the Sun

The dream was afoot,
the skies blue and radiant.

Their love and desire,
untouched by tears.

They laugh happily,
warmed by the sun.

Each heart filling the other,
they feed on the delicious fruits.

Their dreams fulfilled,
they have found each other.

Two hearts beating as one,
their souls dance.

Forever in the ecstasy,
of each others arms.

They laugh happily,
warmed by the sun.
