The voicemail

Hey,
It’s me,
I've been thinking a lot lately,
Do you ever wonder,
Why do we want to know when,
When we could just let go and forget,
Did you ever care,
Or do you even know what game you played,
But you shut me out,
Do I mean something to you,
Or was I just a stone to step on to cross the river,
So

The last voicemail I sent

Hey God…
It’s late.
I don’t really know how to start this.
Not a prayer,
not exactly.
Just a voicemail…
in case I don’t get to say anything else.

I’ve kept it quiet.
No one knows
that I won’t be here long.
Not my mom,
not my best friend,
not him.
They still talk about summer
like I’ll be there.
Like I’ll be fine.
And I smile.
Because it’s easier.

I’m not angry.
I’m

Voicemail 003

Hi it’s B?l?e?e?p? leave a message!

Hey it’s me Jeff
I know you’re at work.
I was bored doing nothing
But you popped up in my mind.

I don’t know what to say.
To start I’m glad that
We’re taking things slow
And starting off as friends.

I just need sometime
To get used to all of this.
Especially with my issues
Of pushing people

Got Your Voicemail

Got Your Voicemail

Inexhaustible frustration
wrapped around righteous anger
stuffed in a jar of aching
unrelenting pain
capped with a lid of
astonished disbelief.
Prayers launched.
Nothing is on hold.

Voicemail

the sun watched him come, the moon saw him stay.
confiding in the sky and the lives it held captive,
but weeping as the world slept;
afraid to wake to a world without her in it.

he pricked at the numbness -
prodding the eternity beyond the moonshine,
dialing and redialing a number out of reach
just to hear the

Calling Voicemail

The love that I felt as she went down, down deep in my soul lying with her top side on the sheets for a low she sucked me dry mentally she the biggest leech that I know she saw that I was empty inside but got depression on mind that got me half stepping and

Voicemail Heart Flickers

Voicemail Heart Flickers

When the alert sounds,
the source of the mystery is revealed.
Heartbeat flickers,
mind smiles,
your voice distilled, calm and haunting,
as I am the lone soul on the planet and,
the only one who can detect soul’s peace?
In the flurry of the daily,
ups, downs and even outs.	,

Straight To Voicemail

You should offer more.
I'm frustrated. Disappointed. Angry.
You pursue your denial.
Instead, you should acknowledge me.
No matter what you believe.
No matter how long you wait.
I won't call you.
I detest the taste of your bait.
I hear nothing.
Weak messages, hiding hate.
You really think I'll change?
To me, that's insane.
I am the "enchanted boy".
Birthed different. Something strange.
This has been me, all

Voicemail

Like, I heard your voice one last time
And all I wanted to do was cry a million times
It saddened me to know the end was prime
All those memories and dreams of us came to me like a tide
Our love had spread to distances wide
Our love had risen to heights might
The love was smoother

Voicemail

I sat & replayed your messages today

I LOVE to hear YOU say my name
If I could I WOULD make strong love to your voice Hold her close to me Until my heartbeat
sounds the same
She is the reason why I came
And while one rib less, she covers my shame
Like a vocal masterpiece
