Our Hyper Vigilant Dog

Our dog is a professional sleep monster. She jumps from couch to recliner, sticking with whoever looks the most-almost-nap-ready. I have never seen a more-ready-to-nap dog, she sleeps with anyone and everyone, going from bed to bed. It is easy to do this here. Although there are but two of us, we have five beds. Hyper vigilant, she hears the smoothing of a sheet or one hair lying down on a pillow. She can pass squirrels and rabbits an arm's length from her nose, without seeing or hearing them, but if anyone is starting a lie down…. There she goes, A mattress must have been sat on.
