Premium Member I Would be Happy to Find a Cryptid

If I could find a cryptid I would be happy, Matt, the zoologist said.
Like big foot, or the giant Ethiopian lizard, with the red head.
What is a cryptid? I asked, feeling pretty unscientific now.
It’s like big foot or Nessie, an animal quite unlike a cow.

Something only a few people have seen, but no one has documented.
love to find something like the devil monkey, even though demented.
Or a sea serpent, a speckled jaguar, or the elephant dung-bat.
I would become known in the world that would be terrific said Matt.

Premium Member In the Land of Opportunity

In the Land of Opportunity
    Entitlement reared her pretty head
Without a backstop to plain bad luck
Social Security's safety net was spread

Next came the 'War on Poverty'
    Food Stamps and ADC
It might have staved off hunger for a bit
But dependency was galvanized, and (yes), obesity

  Today there is unprecedented help
for anyone who will only yelp
Free computer classes, GED, ESL too
Guaranteed Job Training programs in high schools
                                       and community colleges, Yahoo!

Yet the percentage of those working has gone down
and dropping most free classes reigns supreme
Seems that 'giving away the farm'
won't bring back the American Dream

  It's only one man's unscientific perception ~
but 'teaching a man to fish' still passes inspection

Curse 2

A sender of shock waves,
Recipient to unable to remain brave
Days on end, the worst expecting
Week after week, comforting words ignoring,
For those who had their sources wronged
On them inflicting so much pain that people thronged;
The guiltless ones readily taking the matter up,
A notification of persons with whom they sup,
Every one of them prepared to a suit file
Against his attacker who‘d gone to such a mile:
Vulnerable as even the innocent is
To the malevolence of a curse
The great chances of this
 Unfailingly drying his purse.

This, though, a country side anxiety is,
Most urbanites ready to all curses kiss;
For being a mere outburst of the furious
Absolutely sure they aren’t injurious…

But on their contents, I set much store
To their intents glimpsing some claw,
Not at all eroded my unscientific fears
That cursing lips are a lot more than voiced tears
Not just a verbal the social man could safely swallow
As being just an enemy’s chosen “hello”.

Blocking His Vision

We are always in Freud’s view,

blocking his visions

trying to contain ,

attempting to define,

psychoanalysis is

an uncontainable luxuriant over inflated

example of this.

Another green or hot -housed is the

the book itself and its cover

Becoming Freud ,the concept ‘s behind his birth

is part of Yale’s

Lives of the Quaint

which requires of the author not only

a present of Freud

but even goes off side

to make it “Jewish” as well.

There being no ingenious way,

he was so far

round this issue,

Phillips gives Freud’s

Jewishness a conveniently

unbiographical treatment.

At times so unscientific

as to be indeterministic,probably.

You know what I think/

Exercise ! Don'T Exert !!

‘Couch potato’,
‘Couch potato’,
Vexed by every one,
A mother of one,

A woman bulky,
Became sulky.
Coaxed to work-up,
For fitness to develop,

Took to swimming,
Jogging and running,
And drastic dieting,
All unscientific training,

Swift and slender,
Became tender!
Has the training worked wonder?
No! she invited danger!

She is twenty eight,
Walks with a waddling gait,
Gets intermittent ‘blush’?
No! It’s a ‘hot flush’!!

Mental irritation,
At times depression,
Irregular menstruation,
And painful coition,

Pain in the low back,
Fractures the femur-neck!
A menopausal syndrome?
No! An acute weight loss syndrome!
