The Complex Heart

Occupied with love and hate,
Cupid uses it as his bait.
                             Every year on Valentines’ day,
                             Different hearts are on display.

In love it brings joy and sing melodies,
When it speaks, lovers mirror it with their bodies.
Sometimes it embarks on a dark trail,
So quickly it can be derailed.
                             Fuelled with jealousy and animosity,
                             It leaves couples catastrophically

It is a symbol of our love and soul,
                             Many broken hearts are sold,
                             To hatred, jealousy and infidelity,
                             That leads to more controversy.

It expresses more than the mind,
                              When two bodies are intertwined.
                              Complexity and unreliability,
Makes our hearts beat in diversity.

I Just Found Out About You

I just found out about you
About your past
Memories that last
I’d never had a clue
Always so silent
But opinions change so fast
I just found out about you

I just found out about you
The lies you’d whisper at night
Walking in light
Your insides blue
Your insides- of darkness
The unreliability of sight
And how I found out about you

I just found out about you
But hatred is gone
I just play along
As if I have no clue
But I know who you are
And I am not wrong…
I just found out about you

One's Shadowless Moment

That which we embrace
That which we shun
That which we serve

Assimilation

Man's strange bedfellow
Remaining often long in the wings
Allowing shadow-light to become constant
Inviting ghost-like impressions
Enjoin one's timeless opacity of reason

Edification reveals
Experience rejecting idleness
Determined to share
Clover-rich bounty
Free of any fear
Sagacity being void of threat
As predators ignorant
Discover wisdom unconquerable

Sageness
Prepares its ungloved hands
To wave its alert
Ready to allow
Hidden time to luminesce

Discernment
Cautious to act
Knowing empirical reality
Must first pass through
Emotion's unreliability
Patiently pauses

White hot focus holds sway
Peripheral resistance wanes
Fractions
Equations
Formulae satiated
Acceptance invites convergence

Consciousness
Once in asylum
No longer struggling to be
Stands naked at last
Heart and mind fused
Light embodying darkness
Like the ever-forming oneness
Of sunrise comprising sunset
Birth ripening awaited death

Torn

Drenched in incapability...

...The signature of stress...

...with diversion crippled by distraction...

...This failure to be one's best...

...Confusion dictates sustainability...
...Common sense redress...

... Unreliability you accept without regret?

...Observation cruel...

...You believe no cure...

...As you allow yourself to sink below...
...further great depth...

...Yet your confidence stealth - blind...

...Many circled in your cry...

...You gave up - You gave in...

...And now you pay the price...

...Face your demons they're on the rise...

...They have torn you in two...

...and now they monopolise...
...somewhere inside of you...

...You somehow forgot to believe...

...To help yourself...

...To help yourself...

...Will some day set you free...

Self-Doubt's Unreliability....

Certain honesty,
     what's uncertain honesty
              ......insecurity ?
