they always ask me to stay a little longer,
as if laughter came from my skin.
as if I could be unlonely
just by making sure no one else is.
I fill the room,
and yet I’m never
in it.
they love me most
in photographs cropped at the waist—
in group chats
where I type like a mirror
and vanish like fog.
I am the pause before the pretty one speaks.
I am the arm wrapped around her waist.
I am the voice that steadies the silence
but never stirs the heart.
boys tell me I’m safe,
like a bed they’ll never sleep in.
they laugh
and I laugh
and my laugh
is a little too practiced.
I know how to fold desire
into a joke
before anyone sees it.
I know how to be background,
the warm blur,
the easy comfort
you never imagine kissing.
and still—
when I cry
it’s always quietly.
as if I don’t want
to make anyone
uncomfortable.

Hail to the magnificent blue sea,
The unlonely blue sea,
Wide and beautiful to see,
With all majestic lives beneath its foot,
Who knows your root?
Will not one concern himself with what his eyes see?
Or stand astonished as the waves fall,
Hugging and clapping with its magniloquent voice.
Oh! Most dominant part of mans history,
Who wouldest salute at your sight,
Or tremble to behold such a might.
Hail to the unconfined blue sea,
Bearing as countless beauties unimagined.
Even in your raging moments,
You display your shimmering glories.
Wouldn’t one jabber in a bid to appreciate your radiance?
As you help unravel the beauties of the sky,
Showing to the curious minds
the purity of the dazzling
Glaring nights,
And unconceal the moments
Of the twinkling of the stars
To the curious eyes!

Hearing you speak my name.
Is like hearing Poetry@her tamed.
I've been doing well unlonely
With a heart
unchained.
You can extend your chivalry as you keep free my reigns.
Noting ya ability to capture things ascertained.
Say my name.. say my name again. How it sounds can inventively be explained.
We danced in styled coordinated glitter.
Showers of hanging illuminated strings party designed bling all in silver.
Adored smiles, memories for miles. Lasting Niles. Captured images neatly compiled.
All the while loving your productive styles.

To town,
from town.
Clay patta,
saffron civara.
Smoothened walking stick,
the companion of the unlonely
alone.
Downhill,
uphill.
Through clouds,
through fog.
Soles worn,
robes tattered.
Wake, rise...
Weary, rest...
This flesh, in truth,
the begging bowl
we each were issued.

No one knows and no one cares.
Too many times human contact has brought misery and tears.
Trust someone with human layers?
I can't allow someone in because I can't see all their layers.
The valley is deep and so very, very long
One pair of feet is all I own
The going is tough under torn and withered foot
Don't look to close or you could get cut
I'll watch you walk and study your moves
I'll be prepared to act if you try to fool
People come and go there is nothing of lasting here
A smile from someone who then disappears
Friend or foe you can't see in their face
Don't take a chance be prepared to stare death in the face
Don't walk with me because I don't want to know
Listen to the birds and the stream.
That's really all I want to know
I'll find company in what I trust and know
Lonely is for you when you're without your friends
I'm unlonely alone and free from your human cares.

Days never like today
Days without words to say
Simply a brush of nature, a touch of cool wind
Heard was life
Colors survive
Moments before and after… like a dream
Loneliness felt unlonely
A troubled mind felt easy
Simply a lesser time for moments more
Even the rain is light
Arriving earlier as well is night
Of moments only felt, never for time to recall
Almost like a cure
When only a self knows to be pure
A part of a life lived… perhaps learned
A return never will be the same
For the world forever will change
Moments choice less in times only… earned

I have seen a lot of lonely people
All the ones I’ve seen are so alone
And if the poets are a random sample
I see an ample brush of darkened tone
Sadder eyes are looking at tomorrow
Painting teary pictures of today
Penny for this thought I have to borrow
Yester seems to be a better day
I yet can see the moment that I met you
A well worn song that’s seen a lot of play
Love can shine and lighten shades of sorrow
I have your hand to hold along the way
