Unlonely Poet

I have seen a lot of lonely people All the ones I’ve seen are so alone And if the poets are a random sample I see an ample brush of darkened tone Sadder eyes are looking at tomorrow Painting teary pictures of today Penny for this thought I have to borrow Yester seems to be a better day I yet can see the moment that I met you A well worn song that’s seen a lot of play Love can shine and lighten shades of sorrow I have your hand to hold along the way
