Unlonely Alone, Alone Unlonely
No one knows and no one cares.
Too many times human contact has brought misery and tears.
Trust someone with human layers?
I can't allow someone in because I can't see all their layers.
The valley is deep and so very, very long
One pair of feet is all I own
The going is tough under torn and withered foot
Don't look to close or you could get cut
I'll watch you walk and study your moves
I'll be prepared to act if you try to fool
People come and go there is nothing of lasting here
A smile from someone who then disappears
Friend or foe you can't see in their face
Don't take a chance be prepared to stare death in the face
Don't walk with me because I don't want to know
Listen to the birds and the stream.
That's really all I want to know
I'll find company in what I trust and know
Lonely is for you when you're without your friends
I'm unlonely alone and free from your human cares.
