Your face is getting red and puffy
While your attitude is huffy
Do not be so mean and rude
You really need to lose the 'tude
Don't be screaming in my face
You just look like a disgrace
Eyes of fuming reddish fire
Take a deep breath and retire
The smoke coming off your head
Take a walk right to the bed
And calm down--please talk to me
What is in your history
That made you so out of sorts
I will try to help abort
Any issues that will cause
Your identity to pause
Leaving destruction everywhere
Its as if you do not care
Who you hurt or push around
Try and listen to the sound
Of my voice so calm and low
As your breathing starts to slow
And I see my friend once more
Kick that evil out the door
Of your soul where it has taken
Over --leaving you so shaken
But this evil we'll evict
With a strong and steady kick
Giraffea-corn was born in the forest of flowers west of the navy sky.
Her markings were diamonds, her eyes glowed green bye and bye.
Giraffea-corn was a combo, half giraffe and half unicorn of course.
Her best friend was Mule-tude, a cross between mule and horse.
They were not the only mixed animals in the forest so sound.
But obvious ones as Mule-tude was much lower to the ground.
Friends, they uplifted each other and made each other glad
When bullies and gargoyles would try to make them feel bad or sad.
Giraffea-corn and Mule-tude became guardians of the forest of flowers
They developed the ability to fly, and get invisible, both super powers
They then became the protectors of the forest’s dark navy sky.
If you want to ask them to tea, they will shortly be stopping by.
Senectitude is Re Wreck Ta Tude
My teeth are failing, my gums blowing darts
My hands are spotted,
Grandma hands, and she has been gone fifty-five years.
Yet I look down and there they are
Surprising they are not crocheting
Or knitting or soothing a crying child.
They are perpetually typing.
My eyes are going; they have lost their lilt.
They no longer sing or play or skip or dance.
They do not light up a room the way they once did.
I am invisible now.
Not sure when that started,
But I am sure now.
People walk by my cellophane self,
Not seeing me in any human way.
My teeth hurt and my soul is raging mad.
My grandma hands are spotted, but no longer laughing.
Senectitude is Re Wreck Ta Tude
I am a cellophane woman
The twelve year old girl I see in the mirror
No one else has seen for a long time.
Floaties crowd up between me and interstate signs.
I am breaking the mirrors, slapping them down on the highway,
Angry that my teeth are failing
Did I tell you my gums are blowing darts
I hope they stop soon.
My mind is not dancing
any more.
And my soul
is crying.
Your face is getting red and puffy
While your attitude is huffy
Do not be so mean and rude
You really need to lose the 'tude
Don't be screaming in my face
You just look like a disgrace
Eyes of fuming reddish fire
Take a deep breath and retire
The smoke coming off your head
Take a walk right to the bed
And calm down--please talk to me
What is in your history
That made you so out of sorts
I will try to help abort
Any issues that will cause
Your identity to pause
Leaving destruction everywhere
Its as if you do not care
Who you hurt or push around
Try and listen to the sound
Of my voice so calm and low
As your breathing starts to slow
And I see my friend once more
Kick that evil out the door
Of your soul where it has taken
Over --leaving you so shaken
But this evil we'll evict
With a strong and steady kick
What's with the loud, lousy 'tude
Your in an angry kind of mood
There's a stick inside your butt
Causing this mean selfish rut
That someone has stuck up there
But I'm telling you beware
There is no way I will take
This anymore--for goodness sake
If you do not stop this now
Your not gonna like just how
I take care of the situation
Every bit of aggravation
That your spreading will be stopped
When a big and painful pop
Is inflicted by yours truly
It is not an act of cruelty
So bend over very far
I promise not to leave a scar
When I grab one end of it
Don't act this way you piece of sh--
Drivin' down the road
Slingin' a banana peel
It will rot it surely will
There's a park'n at stores
Handicapped spaces galore
No one will notice I'm sure
Now at Wally World
In the park'n lot
I'll not put my cart in that spot
Rebellious attitudes
Are totally Rat-I-Tude
