silently gliding
across the freshwater marsh
the trumpeter swan

Trump Is A Trumpeter Swan
Trump is trumpeter swan singing in lake,
And had been enlarged by an earthquake;
We would fear,
No longer here;
Did disappear after was found to be fake.

Comey and Martha Stuart Sentence
Comey had created Martha Stuart sentence;
She would need to serve for her repentance;
Mentioned flowers,
Better than ours;
Harshly affected her supporters and tenants.

Missing Other Poets
So where have you been?
Write more poems again,
Be enjoyed;
Never annoyed;
Will read while in my den.

Trump to be President he was claiming;
Do whatever he wants has been aiming;
Allegiance oath;
Love me both;
Those around him hopes to be taming.

Trump is like a true trumpeter swan;
Big mouth to dusk beginning at dawn;
Floundering fuddy duddy,
And body really crudy;
We will be glad when he is finally gone.

None of Your Bees Wax
Wrote poem for Andrea and it am devoting;
With her brain writes poems while boating;
As her titles increase,
Wax none of your bees;
Duffle bag full of poems was seen totting.

Liberal or conservative
the questionnaire asks
about migrants.
Fred’s in the middle.
Asked about The Wall
he writes that he sees
nothing wrong
with hungry illegals
crossing the border
looking for work and
nothing wrong with
the Trumpeter Swan
sending them home
as long as no one is
killed in the process.
But okay to give them
Wyoming and Cheney.
Plenty of room.

If I could sing, I would sing a breezy ballad for you just like Ella
And let the words linger for you my dear
If I could dance, I would have graceful balance and toes tapping the music in a Fred morse code
And let the steps celebrate you
If I could discover, I would find a singing Spring robin no longer Rachel’s silent one
And let it see your beautiful face
If I could swim, I would be the trumpeter swan regally posing
And reflecting peace for you my dear
If I could last, I would be the old gnarled pine clinging to the dusty cliff
Just to see you again
If I could do all these things,
I would for you

trumpeter swan, i love you, love,

I was born one day with the glistening sun.
Mom says I am her baby and I have a name;
One of twelve called Cygnet born amongst leaves,
Dad has taught me how to swim and in two days I could.
I am not much to look at right now,
But one day I will be a majestic trumpeter swan;
With white elegant plumage, powerful and graceful,
All day we drift on a slow, undisturbed wetland marsh.
Mom and Dad showed me how to submerge.
I love to eat underwater plants and small fish;
Life so far has been peaceful but one day I will fly.
I weep when I think of leaving my beloved swan family;
Silently we float along in harmony and love,
But I am just a little baby dreaming in the nest;
Just a baby who loves his truly beautiful Mom and Dad.
Oh, and I love my siblings too and the other drifting swans.

silent shadows sing praise to
gossamer lace the Spider webs
give shape O fearless Wolf,
the night awaits your merciless feast
listen, Heaven calls you Trumpeter Swan!
your voice unites the light above
silent, fearless with blinding light,
all the earth shall rise as one
brush off the sands of man,
whose global scourge shall
wither once more
claim your righteous throne
as ages have before you
O beauty among the planets
no words remain describe
