Psalm 25:1 The Valley of Desolation

In the Valley of Desolation all seemed lost.
Denying self and following Christ has great cost.
He had a plan before He created the world;
His plan complete before the universe unfurled.
His ageless will was He would become fully man
And save His chosen ones through His eternal plan.
Ever, ever will He save those trusting in him.
Never, never will

Trochee Spondee

Figuratively speaking
not to be overly
expressive
each unstressed whisper
me and you together
wasting no time
I'm on your dime
love it when were're to gether
so you like evening dates
not to early not to late
abouta quarter to four
I'll be there for sure ooh, we ooh wee!
ah -ah ooh wee ooh
I look forward to the time
were you and I can be kind
ah

Seven Five Trochee

Here’s a little form I found,
from a gal you know.
Trochees give a rhythmic sound
to its metered flow.

Lines must take syllabic care,
keeping proper score:
seven on the first and third,
five on two and four.

Northern Lights - Trochee

Night emotes in sun whipped sheets,
            weaved from rainbow thread.
           Blueish greens that shyly wink,  
                 

Tango Trochee

Lovers chance a tango dance;
passion lights the dark.
Swaying bliss, a stolen kiss,
music ignites sparks.

Romance swirls with hand-held twirls;
eyes gaze with desire.
Red wine lips and tango’s dips 
set the floor on fire.

Repost Chocolate-Trochee

Rich chocolate 'pon my thin lips.
On taste buds twang sits
Minute; lifetime on big hips.
Now clothes don't fit

To a diet must commit
Carrots celery dip
Peanut chocolate dip permit
My pants can now zip

Having bigger problem now than ever....Ha!!LOL

Falling Down- Trochee

Every time I take a step,
I end up falling down.
Legs flying throw the air,
Making me look like a clown.

Though if I jump up in the sky,
Holding a simple prayer in my mind.
I fly....
Only to land on my behind!:-)

Admiring a Full Moon - Trochee

A full moon, she paraded
amongst subdued stars
A bright sun swooned then faded
admiring afar

How the sun's love grew brighter
His moon boldly smiled
Hanging full, she grew wider
her shape had beguiled

Don'T Bother Counting Sheep - Trochee

Sleep is such a precious thing
Now I lay my head,
Close my mind from worrying,
Count some sheep instead

I drift off into my dream...
Hubby starts to snore !
Not again!! Well, I can scheme,
Ewes and me at war !

Sheep stampeding out the door !
A panic stricken flock
I've pushed hubby to the floor
A frantic man in shock!

I don't have the time to rhyme.
On this computor.
I sit and wait for the chime.
I just have one hour.

These contests with all these rules.
Leave me quite perlpexed.
You see, I don't have the tools.
They leave me so vexed.

Olive Oyl---Trochee

I will be your Olive Oyl
Slim as spinach reed,
Cling to me like plastic foil;
Bluto quarantined

Old maids can deny my fame
Need I flaunt my charm?
Two men fighting for my name,

Trochee - Resolution and Prayer

Resolutions aren’t enough
Prayer helps when it’s tough
This year I said a shot prayer
To “The Boss” up there 

Prayed for two items from him
“Fat wallet”-“me slim”
Last year, I asked in vain
Don’t mix-up again!

L'Age D'Or Trochee

L’Age d’Or is an old flick
from nineteen-thirty.
Watching this thing made me sick.
It’s nonsense to me.

Do you know who wrote the script?
Salvador Dali!
You would think this guy had flipped.
It’s not worth to see.

Percy's pickle pointed west
Larry's pointed down
Little Mary looked perplexed
Percy grinned and clowned.
Mary's small feet kept abreast
Larry looked around
'Till a tree limb snagged her dress
making Mary frown.

Black Widow


We made love in the arbour
And loft--out of sight,
Then three times at the harbour
As the day turned night.

Let's go into the parlour
In the candle light,
There's no more time for ardour.
