Autumn Pathetique

God winks with fall in blessedness
A pathetique from a soft breeze,
Silk sonatas, scarlet tresses,
Abundant blessings and jubilees.

Veiled in gold, summer’s parting kiss,
God winks with fall in blessedness,
As amber shadows reminisce
Songs of geese with tender finesse.

Rust tremolos of grace confess
Thankfulness in coral colognes
God winks with fall in blessedness,
Arpeggios in jewel tones.

Autumn’s grace notes in golden fields
Begs hearts to see sacred largess,
Anointed days of hallowed yields -
God winks with fall in blessedness.

Premium MemberMeadowlark

There is a lark who is born to live in the meadow,
perched far above the smooth mountain stones.
She will rise from fields of the cloverleaf cradles,
with a foxglove petal, riding her wings.

A feather she's worn, will flutter on down,
to welcome us here, and to tickle our nose.
With a moment to cling, it is soft as a dream;
then it lifts into streams, of the sweet morning breeze.

She must sing from the heart, to awaken the dawn.
Her valor will linger, in the late morning sun.
Her tempo, announces a thaw in the spring,
Bringing a promise, of flowers and green.

Her voice has a cadence, a solo, ascending,
that comes with an encore, tremolos impending,
so fragile, it harks as a piccolo, playing.

She circles at dawn, to wake you and cheer you.
But at sundown, she croons, a soprano to soothe you.
She's a lark from a meadow, that mellows the heart

Sense of Freedom

Like tremolos and glissandos in music,
those crescendos and decrescendos in volume;
there’s observance of discipline and yet,
at the same time, there’s sense of freedom.
similar to life how it’s gonna be lived, so far.

Inroads within the wake of comfort zone
a melange of options shown for actions;
it gives an engaging answer to learn
in pursuit of love and openness to wounds.
Signs and wonders in today’s world,
reveal the message that God still cares;
though some people don’t look at this way
given that gift of faith in countless situations.

Now that modernity becomes superior,
in every way of living or communication;
with computers and electronics technology,
iconic symbols of the so-called Information.

But with higher gas and consumer prices,
along with recession fears and job layoffs;
there’s a call to be productive in every measure
to make ends meet and be really held accountable.

It slips to the periphery of life’s business and tests,
like a race in the battlefield where one competes;
wrestles with woes and sticks to what life holds,
with sense of freedom and God’s meaning to all.

In the Dream Of

she is so far
speaking without hearing
and he passes between the days
of life
in the tremolos semi shadows
dreams her
but she is leafing through
another book
strewed with hieroglyphs
she wants to find out
and divines
on the entrails of sacrificial animals
the ancient priestess
but there is no future and time
he remains
like an insane stone
thrown at random
and the wind forwards him
in a dream of an edelweiss
