Autumn Pathetique

Autumn 10-2-23 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Autumn Pathetique God winks with fall in blessedness A pathetique from a soft breeze, Silk sonatas, scarlet tresses, Abundant blessings and jubilees. Veiled in gold, summer’s parting kiss, God winks with fall in blessedness, As amber shadows reminisce Songs of geese with tender finesse. Rust tremolos of grace confess Thankfulness in coral colognes God winks with fall in blessedness, Arpeggios in jewel tones. Autumn’s grace notes in golden fields Begs hearts to see sacred largess, Anointed days of hallowed yields - God winks with fall in blessedness.

Thank yo so much, Kim! Even though God is present in every season for me there is such a sense of God's playfulness in fall. Who but our wonderful, and slightly crazy God, would think to turn a green leaf orange?! Thank you for sharing in the glorious jubilee of fall. Blessings of autumn joy to you!

Hi Sam! You remind me of an orchestra leader except in poetry, you get all the instruments, the words and your notes to work in perfect unison to provide an outstanding performance . Bravo….Maestra! Take a bow! A fave, Pangiexx

Hi Pangie! What a lovely message! I am deeply honored by your beautiful words, fav and feedback! So many times I think of writing poetry like writing a song. Funny how two minds can run in the same vein and on the same road at the same time! Then there are times when words and cadence seems to have an "attitude!" Dissonance needs a little grooming! But even that is a fruitful experience and I learn so much. Hope you are well. Looks like we are going to have a little "heat wave!" Stay cool! Blessings to you dear friend.

I found this poem delightful--it had outstanding but purposeful rhyme scheme that was well crafted. I found "God Winks with fall in blessedness' so appropriate. I sometimes think God winks at all of us from time to time :-)

Hi Sara! We are so blessed when God winks at us in moments of serendipity and surprise. Of all the seasons autumn, for me, is full of that sense of serendipity as our wonderful, and sometimes crazy, God thinks to turn a green leaf orange! Thank you so much for the blessing of your lovely visit and feedback! Sending you blessings of autumn joy!!
