Trick or Treat

It’s almost Halloween.
Pumpkin spice and everything in between.
Skeleton decorations.
Getting ready for celebrations.
Sadly, I’m too old to trick or treat.
But I still want something sweet.
At the store, I pick up a cake.
Something premade, I don’t have to bake.
I wasn’t invited, so I’m sour.
I order pizza, it will be an hour.
A trick or treater knocks at the door.
Giving out candy feels like a chore.
What am I supposed to be?
Kid, just take the candy!
I throw in extra candy, if he tells his friends-
That I am an evil witch and it’s not pretend!

Premium Member Jack O Lanterns Lit the Way

Jack-o-lantern alley lit the way
to the elaborate haunted house.
Full of cobwebs and slimy excretions of gray
Left behind by more than one messy mouse.

It smells like mice a trick-or-treater said.
She looked fearful as she looked up the well-lit hill.
It is just a haunted house, the curtains are red.
Let’s go on up there, said her cousin Bill.

Some of us turned and ran the other way.
We had no concept that this would be all right.
I think I’ll try it in the light of day
Said two or three trick-or-treaters who fled in fright.

Women

WOMAN

Woman is wonder of the nature
As a mother she feeds us
As a sister she cares about us
As a wife she looks after us
As a daughter she is the delightful gift to us

Woman is the creator
Woman is the facilitator
Woman is the spectacular
Woman is the good treater

Without woman we are no more
Without woman we can't do more
Without woman we can't survive more
Without woman we can't expect more

God created woman for us
So….so woman is wonderful gift to us

Premium Member Halloween Night

Halloween night is supposed to be scary
Peopled by spooks and goblins, most of them hairy
But where I come from it's quite festive and merry
     Sugarplums dancing, accompanied by faeries

Then there's the time-honored custom of trick-or-treating
'Course, as any trick-or-treater will tell you, it's all in the eating
But where I'm from we dispense with the preliminaries
Just one thing on our itinerary -- confectioneries

Now as to the matter of witches on broomsticks, cackling high overhead
And the spirits and ghosts that allegedly rise up from the dead
We don't subcribe to that spooky nonsense
What we do is burn incense and sniff frankincense

Not to leave out the garish jack-o-lanterns' macabre grins
The eerie haunted houses with their swinging skeletons
Sorry to disappoint you, but we simply dispense with that stuff
~ In our nudist colony, where tradition's remade in the buff

2,2

The sun is shadowing in the mountains,
He slept through rain times, and ascending;
Down the road a men and a machine, -
   Pleed the relative speed and encrese;

The treater like the creater good, -
Well enough to let him own the morning, -
Holding the cosmos against any beast restrainge
 the hammer noise hastuaries the cleen sounds;

And Nothing goes last and firmer than that,
the thick white paper burned with fire ties who tries.
Sky is the blue zone till now, and forever black crown's nest in the hottest of the Summers.
