A Doll's Tissue

A porcelain vein under my skin,
Open burning of doll's eyes,
Girl rising to a pink end —
This just daybreak

Open burning of doll's eyes,
Black fire in her hair,
Girl rising to a pink end —
~Remember~ her shelf life, bare

Black fire in her hair,
Girl rising to a pink end,
~Remember~ her shelf life, bare —
A porcelain vein under my skin

The Tissue Paper Story

I just recall my
College love life
When a girl answer
My love in a tissue paper.
I treasure that moment
And that tissue paper
I keep it laminated
Until today, i just hid it
In my memory
And my secret album.

CONNECTING TISSUE

Shall these bones
Live again
Lying upon earth
Where death takes
And gives birth
...to war

Upon this rock
I'll build my church
Where tares hurt
The wheat, growing
To finally alert
...lethargy

When the winds assail
And water floods
Look to the sky
No loving GOD
Sends the hail
...to watch....creation...die

There has to be a lie
Running a muck
Chasing the Achilles Heel
The Matter God
Warring the LOVE GOD
...for the real

CONNECTING TISSUE to soul

Premium MemberThe Discarded Tissue

a discarded tissue wept,

as it fluttered slowly
against the cold hard pavement

hoping
to feel the heat of a caress
one last time

haunted
by the memory
of a brief strong tender embrace

she lingers on the ground,

limp

used

abandoned

she still aches

for the wind

that will

carry her back

to her

lost lover

Soft Tissue Attached

After thousands of years
due to global ice melt in the permafrost
my carcass has been unearthed.

Not surprisingly I was hairy and
proto-Slavic.

Some idiot named me ‘Derick Specimen 974.2’,
My spirit watched as they soaked me in warm water
then froze me up again.

How many times must my remains
be poked about like this?
For centuries I have been interned,
exhumed, washed away
and bulldozed into dust,
leaving my genetic footprints all over
their dumb brains

and now some fool
looks upon my preserved remains
and names me ‘Derick’!’

Just wait until I dig one of you up
ten thousand years from now.

I won’t care how bald and scrawny looking you are,
I’ll name you: Aphrodite
even through your flaccid popsicle of a scrotum
is clear for all to see.

Connective Tissue

A sacred connection, an unlikely pair
Those who were strangers to love, became familiar with its scent
A shocking revelation.....
A vibrant flame emerged from the smoke
Bound together in a world of separation
For, no outside interference can disrupt the chemistry
Kindness flows through those who are unaware of its existence
Connected by happiness, strengthened by pain

If Only He Would Go Away

We rather wish that someone would
     lead him to a tree.
They can be so useful
     for life and death.
He might look more elegant
     from a distance.

But this one decides to join us
     in this bar,
sits at our table, displaying
     his filthy fingernails,
his rather snotty tissues, sniffing,
     so audibly, so blatantly.

Each half-hour or so he has a smoke,
     so leaves the room,
permitting us to take
     a deeper breath,
drawing somewhat cleaner air
     into our lungs.

Ah, who has the courage to say
     please go away -
though it would be better to use
     some choice language?
But all we do is sit -
     just hope, ho hum!

Life is just a traffic jam, and I can't seem to get past my thoughts
So, many accidents my regrets get lost
Souls trying to fly without wings
Trying to retrace their steps
But no footprints are left behind
A weird feeling breezes through this ghost town of my mind
State the reason for your existence, I exclaimed
Wondering just where I was
The response whispered life lessons
Confused I asked lessons?
There is nothing here
The whisper replied exactly
You never learn you only push me back and erase me away
Causing the worst type of pain
A blank space
Then I understood
I never faced my problems
I only covered them up
Leaving a vacancy where the past should live
So, I could digest the pain and leave it behind instead of still getting caught up in old ish
Lesson learned to move into my wounds
p.s. I'm the student and the teacher...

Premium MemberA Tissue

A Tissue is a paper hanky,
That isn't very strong.
If you have a heavy cold,
It will not last you long.
One nose blow is all these hankies need,
To become useless,
And flutter in the breeze.
Fluttering in the breeze,
Causing ailments and disease.
It is a mortal sin,
Not to throw these hankies in the bin.

Premium MemberAmerica What's the Issue Why Ya Eatin All the Toilet Tissue--

Every time I go to the store;
I see those same bare walls;

What's the issue;
What's America doing eating toilet tissue;

Shelves are still empty,
no matter what time I go;
And every time I go to the store;
I see those same old blank walls;

America what's the issue;
What you doing eating toilet tissue;

Shelves are still empty no matter where I go;
I go to Sam's Club,  Kroger's;
I go to Fairway,  Wal-Mart,  Safeway;
I go to Kmart, Sears and Walgreens oops!

Some of those stores,
not here anymore;
Not trying to whine and cry;
I just want to wipe my behind;

America what's the issue;
Why y'all eating( buying) all this toilet tissue;

It's not that much bowel movement going on;
So please stop hoarding and give me a roll;
Every time I go to the store;
I see those same bare walls;

Oh!, ah! Could someone anyone somewhere give me a roll,
I,
I gotta GO-

What's the issue;
What's America doing eatN toilet tissue

Covid-19 Coping

It seems to happen frequently
At least in this millennium
All the freedoms we enjoy
We now must keep to minimum

They say we must can cel our plans
And figure out why tissue
Has disappeared from grocer's shelves
When toilets aren't the issue

Was it a snake that put me in
This frantic need to sanitize
Or could a bat have sneaked one by
And caused this world to agonize?

I'd hardly think a wayward germ
Is gonna take my lungs out
But lis'ning to the MSM
My saner side will then doubt

Following the movie stars
In self-imposed restrictions
I'll give in to sequestering
And snub the contradictions

So now I wait to see what the
Stock market guys will guess at
And what my local diplomates
Will emphasize and stress that

Contamination headlines streak
Across the news like comets
I could not close this timely rhyme
Ignoring words like vomit.
