A Glimpse Of Eternity

when we allow time to stop, a glimpse of eternity will appear.

When Love Appeared

That night,
love arrived—
not with thunder,
but with your fingernails
drumming my kitchen table,
drumming like a child
counting down to Christmas.

You said my name wrong—
*Said* instead of *Saeed*—
and the way you stumbled,
stammered with your hands,
that tiny tremor
in your certainty
undid me completely.

I had built my life
to avoid exactly this:
the way you bit your lip
when thinking,
the scar above your left eyebrow

A timeless infinity
Stretches in all directions...
Reaches high
But finds a ceiling,
Reaches low
But finds a floor --
This timelessness is only horizontal
It reaches for the goal
But dissolves it in water
Before it can be grounded

Courage circle, of friends not a kin
They become a wide shoulder when he wanted to lean

Their pure soul pour, overflowing happiness
Plenty of wild thoughts overwhelmed with tenderness

From back then until now
With timelessness, they filled his flaw

Pampered so much as in this break.

My past already lived,
my unknown future is the only place to travel-
beyond paradoxes or predictions,
 I could stand in a world beyond a human life span,
 There to begin again, a quest for knowing.


New languages, new laws, new temptations
or delights. 
 I cannot say how I will travel there,
