So tonight we discuss time
The struct that constantly cons
It’s dutiful meander into the yet
It’s basically elongated counting
Never very good with numb bears
All the realities I hope there is one that isn’t
So time
How long is a moment
How short is a life
The dust.from the mountains creating the next
Are we the only ones who count
Humanity is really up itself
Seconds are first
Sow why don’t call them the firsts
How many almosts and ifs
When does past become the present
Would everything happen at the same time without its touch
This time
My answer to what time do you call this
Now always seems to fly past
Look for the future
Missing the right now

My sister always has Charlie holding on to her hat
He is a weird bug, but colorful, I will give him that
I will time how many minutes you can hang in that tree
Charlie, the arrogant bug said to me, to ME!
I was a bit annoyed, for he is not on my level at all.
I am a big burly boy, he is tiny, irritating and small.
Letting him time me was a decision my sister made.
I wished this bug would fly back to the Everglade.

Time wends, stutters, stalls.
Time was when it flew.
Timeless are the dead stars
timed to the last moment
are the living.
Man is a faceless clock
on a blank wall.
In time, the deaf
tell the blind to see.

Summer deals its first hand
no bluffing behind her eyes
depression heated to irritating comfortless
catching tunes upon the air
that haunt from summered pasts
the clink of ice on crystal
Mowers scream from close by
a yapped chorus bites the air
the haze lifting from cement
for a moment ripples reality
then a falling wind chills
with the burning shadows
of anything stopping the sun's stretch

Some life is like that haystack needle thing that pre drones a slim positivity

An Ill-Timed Game
Some people never know a thing called Kairos.
Before we bat an eye, it’s taken from us.
We seem to be on time and miss the boat.
If it’s important to be said, just make a note
because the moment that we move our mouths to talk
the call will drop and all good thoughts are lost.
When the mood is right and feelings are so strong
in a nanosecond something will go wrong.
Some have tried to beat an ill-timed game of life.
Stop and think how much they need it to play right.
Kairos is the dream that looms way out ahead.
Stumbling blocks and interruptions rule instead.
If we could find our proper place to be
fated timing might just work for us, agree?

An untimely tortoise was tap tap tapping on a bright pink table cloth. But table cloths are neither clever clowns, cooing cows canoodling, and neither are they chorus clapping crabs in a line up displayed on a holographic pole.
Systematic signage shrink then? Yes. Well whoopee and how very very exciting too. IT is to be non existent if one constantly places a brain into a swamp or a mind's view into a piece of a log. Section then multiply the baking trays for they are often in disarray and become very annoyed and then refuse to preform even the simplest of boiling duties with a grin. A gruel grin.
Strong is a ship sail and a ship's sail is a Sophocles in a cloud. Whirling.
And now all that is said it is time to dance around the kitchen.
Good.

Please be advised, my Seconds are weighed in gold,
Therefore, comprehend, my Minutes in diamonds are sold,
Be warned, my Hours, as a commodity, are priceless all told,
A Day, A Whole Day, a value I hardly dare pronounce,
But for you, this Day, the next Day all Days are yours,
This I am proud to announce.

The ticking of the clocks made me snap.
Their constant teasing,
Slowing down,
Speeding up.
Tick tock,
Tick tock.
Going on and on
"We're losing time" they scream
But really,
Time doesn't exist,
Clocks do.
We have been programmed to run on something that doesn't exist
"In enough time..." I'll go insane.
In enough time, of course
But if time doesn't exist,
Then I'll never lose my sanity.
Or maybe,
Just maybe,
I never had any.

go out in the field with that
helmeted Go-Pro and press the button,
not that little clearing beside the building
but the field as wide as it is far, far out
look up and stream the dark washed sky
times elapsed in fusioned milky light
watch it arc across the chilled, stubbled field
the cold sparks beautifully splayed across
turn it over now - a bit further, roll over,
refocus, look down close at the loam laid on
set the time-lapse for lengthening days
and watch your shadow pass below you
see the seed casing crack open and
seedlings rise to first season of life
toward the now brightened sky above
listen to the cells elongate springing
against gravity to push away to up, up
sit up, or stand and raise the gaze farther
the slow pan of growth, Jacked up stalk through
sky and clouds to see what's so big up there

There's fog over the valley,
the river's running high,
Thunder's rolling from the east
through a darkening sky.
The ev'ning comes in hazy
for one moment of time,
Moving through the shades of grey
trapped in this heart of mine.
Candlelight starts flickering
in sullen breezes soft,
Bringing chills to youthful dreams
kept hidden in a loft.
Along forgotten waysides
are roads no longer signed,
They hold on to lives gone by
and mem'ries left behind.
Faces in the shadows deep
can barely hold a smile,
They await the light of day
not seen in quite awhile.
Chimes echo from an old clock
when two hands are aligned,
Ever sounding through the years
for heartbeats never timed.
