Mounting cogs grasp time
A Sprocket wheel turns about  
No lost hours inside
Ticking sounds coming alive 
Giving ‘rights’ to time split lines!

Interlocked ‘tables’ set 
Seconds, minutes, hours ‘taken’
Timed feedings correct
When wheeled settings are cog-fitted
Catching time on the dotted line!

SECONDS, MINUTES, TO HOURS © TANKA

Seconds into hours 
Interlocking work inside
Ticks a correct beat
Forever telling us to wake
Sleep, eat, play and be merry!
