my parents have taught me well
to survive when they are dead and gone
and now that they are I must live my life
in a way that would make them proud of me
whatever work- I give it my all
I try to live in the moment and enjoy living
for I am on this earth but for a short time
the grave waits whispering my name
the teachings of the nuns still heard
and I am proud of that each day
the teachings of God drilled into me
giving me tranquility, kindness, and humility
I have a gentle spirit and use my wisdom
                              and knowledge well

Finally my blood began to coagulate,
signalling that wounds inflicted by fate had healed,
paving way for my presence, to pass through heaven’s gate.

I played out my hand as of the cards, I was by destiny dealed,
equal in both joy and pain, dancing gleefully in the rain,
knowing God holds my hand on life’s playing field.

Detached from mundane thoughts of loss or gain,
I dissolved my wayward ego in the womb of love divine
and thus Holy Spirit magically cleansed my soul’s sin and stain.

As polarities orbit each other, I see how love for love does pine,
in timeless time entwining blissfully under God’s oneness sign.

Journey of My Life Thus Far

In place of bookmarks or
turning the corner of the
many empty pages of my
autobiography

I so wish to fill in to
commemorate the journey
and story of my life thus far

I choose to use
crestfallen autumnal leves
i saved since last september

Best described as colour
fired desert opal grapefruit
colour red

And along my merry way
to both humour me and
provide me joy

I keep a dictionary by my side
for constant companionship

So if cometh the day
if i shall ever was to be asked
to regail my story unto another
passing stranger by

Not of where i am going
but rather where i have
been and thing's
that i have seen

I manage to get my
message across in the
most eloquent of my ways

And somehow make my
dull and somewhat dreary
life appear as it has never
been viewed before

Not simply a librarian but
as a published author instead

Worthy of gracing the page's
of any brittle leather bound
antiquity 1st edition fairytale

Adorned with such illuminating
word's its left entirely up to the
imagination of the said readers
mind

The picture he or she wishes
to paint and journey to explore

One step at a time, we have come afar,
resolutely flowing on in prayer,
no attachments remain with which we spar,
graced by beauteous hues of bliss flavours,
vaporised self our devout soothsayer.
Childlike wonderment, beholding surprise;
moment to moment, magnetism does rise,
revealing and concealing the divine,
directly imbibed wisdom, makes us wise,
as head and heart, with throb of love align.

My Journey.....Thus Far

The sea, took me far...
Through the night
I followed the stars,
until dawn light

The deepest ,softest night
Replaced by rosy hue
On a sea of blue,
in dawn light

Each day, did bring...
For me...
A small wonderful thing
Life...
On a deep blue sea

I waste not, a single day
A golden sun
A soft wind,
the sea spray

I waste not, a single night
Deepest blue,
in starlight
A moon...
So clear
I could touch it...
It was so near

My journey, thus far...
Following my chosen star
On a sea,
filled with words,
filling me
