Celtic through and through
Irish from her tip to her toe
Ginger haired with verdent eyes
Her face is the map of Ireland

She must be from Dublin one guesses.
Another thinks she walked out of a rainbow.
She’s reputed to have lived with leprechauns.
The girl smiles to herself.

Being British and German, she feels smug
Because she has pulled a trick
on a shamrock maker
and the governor of Cork.

What do I want to say to You?
The light of my life, the whole truth
You give my heart rest, You’re the glue
You’ve held me together since youth

You’re the wonder that frees my soul
What do I want to say to You?
You’re lasting peace, making me whole
You’re love that will always come through

Your light the darkness can’t construe
Thanks to You, I am saved by grace
What do I want to say to You?
You bring hope my heart can embrace

You’re the fire burning in my heart
Due of You, I’m saved through and through
You saved me, gave me a fresh start
What do I want to say to You?

Thoreau Through and Through
Breathe and observe, duet sitting on a beach,
Or a Walden Pond, attend details' breach,
Ripples, waves, light glinting off splashes,
Warm sun crust, rays streaking striped sashes,
Surge after surge wash over and under,
Awareness catches subtle and quiet thunder,
Surface Cat's Paws emerge by breeze breath,
Wash lapping waves upon lack of depth,
Closed eyes hear resounds of cardio throbs,
Thoreau math minuses the bleating mobs,
Don't Go with the Flow but Put Your Ducks,
In a Row, fulfill your life: "I am!", not "Aw Shucks!"

Southern Through and Through

Southern Through and Through
Dr. Jim Martin

I am satisfied in my Southern ways,
I am really quite content.
I think I’ll stay and settle here
That is really my intent.

Do not try and persuade me to change my mind,
Saying I have surely lost my way.
I am really not interested in other locales
I have decided to on Southern soil stay.

My roots run deep in this Southern land
Where we talk in our own proud style.
Listening to others try to mimic our speech
Brings to me much more than a smile.

There is much that we are proud of in these parts
That is often not well understood.
Folks from elsewhere think it odd
That we care so for “neighborhood.”

To not be in a constant rush;
To use words like “git” and “ya’ll”
Does not mean that we’re less smart than you
Nor did we into “stupid” fall.

The Wind Through and Through the Trees

The wind was crawling through and through the trees,
and through again your hair as dark and thick
as fog, my fingers curled all through it, like
a breeze your lips came near my ear, a soft
and throaty whisper poured all out and lay
as calm as grass and stillness of the hills.

Through and Through

Through grace our sins are left behind,
Each day now we spread message in kind.

Through life willfully given up to death,
We each day partake in living breath.

Through Him we averted spiritual loss,
Now souls blossom unlike flowerless moss.

Through His love a life saved from wrath,
Same now beckons to walk sanctioned path.

Through His grace we received this gift,
Revealing to others His forgiveness is swift.

Now in Him through Christ we boast,
More souls raised in reconciliatory toast.

Through and Through

When your impish child did become difficult
Best option has always been the belt
Which was wrapped across the rear end
To straighten out child is what you intend.

Why should you let all of your plans scatter
Try to get down to the seat of the matter
What they want to do is have rules bent
Object of their behavior is being obstinent.

Are there any riles I may have left out
Child's hard of hearing so have to shout
And end up having to become ballistic
Due to child being my primary statistic.

Also is now object of all my attention
Without a doubt and lack of apprehension
My grand conclusion I deliberately came to
Kid is biggest pain through and through.

Through and Through

Through and through
Through your eyes I see your soul. through my eyes theres a story to be told.
Throught this darkness i still see the light, throughout this journey i continue to
fight. Through the pain, I found pleasure. through your love, i found a treasure.
through the bitterness, i remain sweet. Through the falls I continue to land on my
feet. Through the sadness in my heart, I found the strength not to fall apart.
Through my mi9stakes i continue to learn. Through my faith i let it burn. Throughj
your smile, I see your fears. Through my eyes youlll see the tears. Through my life,
Ive learned so much. Through all my experiences, my soul has been touched.
