Purim Theorem!

Rambam holds Hashem is math,
Hashem does not take a path,
Like “Squaring the Circle”,
Such is illogical,
Yet the Zohar differs on Hashem’s craft!

Witness the Aron anomaly,
Giving rise to a homily,
Finite length & width yet zero volume,
Boggling the mind, yielding it solemn,
Evoking Emunah more than normally!

Size yet no volume?
Anomaly! as in Shalom,
Moshe saw that the “Burning Bush”,
Was unconsumed, he didn’t silence: Hush!,
Risking ridicule, courage to be alone!

Moshe saw water & fire combine,
Hashem’s Shalom nonintuitively align,
Illogic surprise from mire,
Despair be gone! Lost? A Divine sign!

Purim, 339 Before Common Era,
Hashem again was a true “Chevra”,
Upending Haman’s goose,
In a long necked noose,
Saving the Yidden from an evil schema!

Arrogance vanquished,
Anomaly? Yes by logic languished,
Expect the unsuspected,
Human reason dissected,
Headstand of man anguished!

“Shemayim’s” Burning Bush is a hymn,
Let the “Olam” Hear Him,
Again no novelty,
“Chiddush” renewal, an end to “Evilty!”
All Adds Up to Purim Theorem!

Premium MemberPythagorean Theorem Proof

Pull up a chair, and don’t make a move!
We’ve got something we really must prove,
‘Bout sides of a right triangle, num’bring three.
You’ve somewhere to be? I won’t hear your plea!

A plus B, squared, as in the picture I drew (A+B)^2= C^2 + 4AB/2
Equals C squared plus 4 times AB over two.
Next, smartly observe that four, two divides, (A+B)^2= C^2 + 2AB
And promptly subtract 2AB from both sides. (A+B)^2–2AB= C^2+2AB-2AB

Expand A plus B, squared; and then simplify. A^2+B^2 +2AB–2AB= C^2
You’ve just used your math to well justify A^2 + B^2 = C^2
And prove what Pythagoras wisely declared -
A squared plus B squared is exactly C squared.

Premium MemberA Balance

A chemical balance
To measure the mass of a chemical
A beam balance
To measure the mass of an object
A spring balance
To measure the weight of an object
What's the instrument
To measure the dignity of man
The rights of man
The fair share amongst man
I wonder
Till now
When fate and prejudice come in
We just can't derive an instrument or equation for
A fair share on earth
Moreover
There is no rule or theorem
To seek for and derive a balance equation
Wow
This is what we didn't
And will never learn in Mathematics

Beauty Lost To a Theorem

I once knew a poet named Sathya
who penned the beauty of Himalaya
this write was his first poem
             it read just like Theorem,
this jest sent his ears red like papaya.

--------------------------------------------

PS: When I was asked to pen a poem on Himalaya(snow mountain range in the South Asia,), being Math oriented I presented a writing which had full of facts ( Temperature, height, length, weight, moisture and this sounded like a Mathematical Theorem). My teacher, in her note was curious to know the beauty I saw in the all facts I presented . My ears turned red and did not know how to react.

Eric's First Fundamental Theorem of Love

"Eric's First Fundamental Theorem of Love"
by: Eric L. Boddie

One plus one equals one
Can this truly be
If so, then it is also true
That one plus one equals three

For there is your Soul, then there is mine
Two lives brought together by fate
And, in the creation of Love, we become one
Unless, by chance or design, we Procreate

Thus, three derives from one
The one created from the union of two
Man, woman and child
Creating another one because a family grew

All because this man
Vigorously desired to date you
Girl, don't you understand
Just how much I negative hate you

Which was proven by induction
For we experienced much frustration
And now, all that is left
Is for us to balance this equation

Theorem of Unity

From single drop of dew guillotined on light
The blood flowed leaving the day white
Above world of red rage of racial rituals,
Orange mellow of satisfaction sought.
Yellow roses say angers end is admissable
Blues change to country songs, blue
Surf whispering on the lips green waves breaking
On an indigo morning of the inviolate eye.

From God's light outpoured
The colors of all his children
Singing the multiplicity of races in heaven
The choir of redemption
Balming the blind blunders of egos wrongs
And I had wanted to tell you along
How my patience pine at your lips
To hear you speak uninterrupted and respected
By a man needing you for more than desire

Soon we holding hands so away from the surfs cold tongue
Suckimg the salt sands under our friendly feet
Our bodies naked as a flag, and I untented
Before the majestic honesty of love
Build the alternative to the heart's
Confrontation of rock and tides.
I saw the spray scattered in silver light
The prism broken like an egg
The spectra of colors shedding evidence
Our beginning was from a common tree
Black and white keys singing in harmony.

Possible Theorem, Louise Nelson, Please Note

I wonder, maybe you do too, let me know your thoughts on this;

A sunny day would have no significence if there was no rain.
Likewise, Goodness must have a counterpoint, to give it validity.
 Just a thought?
I invite any comments, please. Your humble servant, tom.

Love's Theorem

Let there be you, in
This world for two, where
Dreams and reality
Intertwined, infinitely,
The stars are through and true
In perfect rendition,
A fixed condition,
For such equation is
A mystified truth,
That only exists in the form of you
And me. A belief
To a better dream
After dream unfold, a hopeful
Eternity.
