Only a Poem

Just because life restrain a smile,
create love as if your a mad scientist with a test vile.
Raised in a neighborhood of abandonment,
only a poem of life so let be be true in character is what I ment.
A poem but thaughts to touch a heart,
giving thanks to the hard working teachers who make us smart.
Only a poem but a time to escape,
not from hope but to fix a heart with duck tape.
Just smile and it won't hurt,
I dare you to try while my words fall to the dirt.
Poems around the word to be spoken,
smilling even when times are bad so they named me broken,
acheived with no gold or treasure stolen.
Only a poem to others but to me it's happiness,
no pain killers because writing releaves my stress.

Just Dont No What To Do With Ones Self

certain times i feel in the day,
which kinda mood i wanna display,
will i will be naughty, evil or wild,
or will i be sencible normal or mild?

now today what shall i do with myself,
shall i stay home,be bored and sit on the self
or shall i go out and play, and annoy people,
do it to the blind and keep it simple,

shall i be kind and give to the needy?
or shall i stay at home and just be greedy?
go out and spend money that i dont have?
or go to the shops and 6 beers i'll grab.

go out and try to find a job?
or sit at home and be a slob,
the thaughts that rattle inside my head,
i sometimes wonder if im better off dead......................................................

A Place Called the Bubble Gum Tree

have you been to the bubble gum tree<
a place thats full of mystery,
a place that you can let your thaughts go,
a place where u can go with the flow.

i went to christmas at the bubble gum tree,
a place where you, first met me,
hiding behind the sofa to see
if you would make me a cup of tea.

a magical place where anything goes,
youd be out of place if you had 17 toes,
but only certain people knows,
the magical world of the bubble gum tree

A Moment Free

i stare curiously out my window at birds,
and decided to reflect my thaughts into words,
i wonder where i would be?
if i could fly like what i can see.

Id saw amoungst the mountain tops,
admire the view from random stops,
id fly around my childhood places,
laughter,reminiscing distant faces.

Id circle around my very first school.
where in the playground i once played the fool,
glide over the top of my mums house,
gliding as quiet,as quiet as a mouse.

Id fly over seas to somewhere like spain,
and there for a while, i would remain,
to quench my thirst and sample the food,
relax in a tree, take in the mood,

Id fly to africa to witness the fammine,
and stop for a while, to watch to examine,
the struggle and poverty of everyday life,
a grieving family of husband and wife.

Then id fly as high as i could,
to see the sign in hollywood,
so why land here you silly bird?,
finishing my thaughts with a four letter word.

Jane

I miss you my jane, i miss you so much,
your loving smile and caring touch.
Every day we spend apart,
tears at my soul and breaks my heart.

I miss all the things we used to do,
now those are the thaughts that pull me through.
Walking the dog down by the sea,
are lodged in my mind constantly.

Our dreams were starting to come true,
but now im here missing you.
So when i next see you ill bow to one knee,
and ask you my jane if youd marry me.

Frustration At the Nation

Theres a feeling im finding hard to describe,
a pushing and pulling not unlike the tide,
A temper raises and boils inside,
thaughts im finding more harder to hide.

My homelands allways been at war,
making others obey its law.
Breading resentment at every turn,
by its own mistakes it will not learn.

Installing violence to gain more power,
a military boot crushing a flower.
passed through generations until now me,
blinded by rage un able to see.

Thaughts of Escape

Trapped in the mind of an insecure man,
theres no direction and no life plan.
Deep inside are thaughts of despair,
broken friendships left beyond repair.

Feelings of pain an everyday thing,
try to disguise and go on with a grin.
tormented by an abusive past,
memories set to forever last.

Alcohol a permenant part of my saviour,
destroys and effects my lifes behaviour.
a burden on an uncaring race,
time to adopt an uncaring face.

Downward Spiral

depression reduces me down to my knees,
cant seem to see the woods for the trees.
Allways on edge with a sence of tension,
paranoid thaughts to vast to mention.

Inside my head my mind runs riot,
allthough i percive a charictor of quiet,
forever picking faults with ones self,
a deteriation of my mental health.

to punish myself i began to self harm,
rape my exsistance and cut my arm.
latching onto any act of kindness,
but vunverbility insuing blindness.

looking for love in all the wrong places,
hiding behind so many false faces.
a losing side of a game of chess,
more frustration as im trying my best.

looking at life as a glass half empty,
while reviwing others lfes resentfully.
Alienating myself from human traffic,
isolating for months its that dramatic.

Everdecresing downward slide,
but this is no funfair ride.
