Blessed well-being is God's gift indeed
Loaded with good health midst Scriptural creed
Established upon faith's seed that meets spiritual need
Settled for gracious and lovingkindness' breed
Strengthened by caring and sharing functional deed
Empowered to do best, conquering selfish greed
Driven to live well upon temperance; against gloom---verily freed.
Now, start the New Year with the Lord's nurture
Exercising trust along prayerful posture
Watered with hope, refreshed with cheerful air toward sharing gesture.
Stay in divine sunlight of goodness delight
Turn to the Almighty's direction that is always right
Acknowledge His presence around His fellowship day and night
Rest in His mercy, miracle and might

Honor the guests by not bringing up politics or religion.
Acknowledge the ones who are not here this year.
Notorious memories brought up with loving bouts of familial laughter.
Kindness extended to those who cannot stay awake at the table.
Share our new stories with hope they will go no further.
Getting a last visit in before frost and ice keeps us homebound.
Ideally, the food will be super delicious, as great as last year.
Virtually include the relatives who are afraid to make the trip.
Imagining the fun of decorating the Christmas tree in a few weeks.
Necessary biting of the tongue when you do not agree with grandma.
Giving thanks for the ones that helped make this new Thanksgiving memory.
T o Him, my loving Father, always I am grateful in sorrow or in joy,
H is righteousness makes me sing hymns and praises,
A nd to begin my day I always kneel to pray with humbled heart;
N odding in thankfulness for giving me a gift of another day;
K neeling again when day is done then with a smile, I sleep~

Autumn Season (Acrostic)
Autumn brings a beautiful season of splendor each year
Unusual beauty of the leaves—their grandeur is so fair
Touching hearts of God’s creation with radiance bright
Urging us on to enjoy such natural beauty and delight
Manifestation of what He has done for our great earth
Now God is showing how He molds us from our birth
Season of grace and Thanksgiving everyone gives thanks
Enjoy the season with baked turkey not barbecue franks
Alleluia to our great God on high His grace we embrace

No two families celebrate the same way, still

So they make thanksgiving a day of delights

Not the same but then,
