Across the miles, this special day
Pleasant thoughts, nice sights to see
Parades, food and words of poetry
You have this time, filled with quality

Thank you for the gift of who you are
Heard from nearby and from afar
Adorned places that will receive
Nestled in special moments to believe
Keep loving the simple things around
Seeing each and every gift to be found
Gracious breaths, hour by hour
Inspiration carries the inner power
View your soul to be oh, so free
In this day of pleasant festivity
Night will bring you plenty of rest
Grant you tomorrow, the very best

I just fixed a mistake I had made in the poem. I hope your day is filled with happiness. I actually did enjoy the turkey and pie. I made a chocolate cream pie, that just came out well.
