Thank you,
and all of your angels above
Thank you,
for all your love
Thank you,
for helping me
Guiding me,
providing me
Thank you,
for giving me strength
Thank you,
for the water I drank
Thank you,
for the food I eat
Thank you,
for my two feet
Be careful what you wish for me...
When you're wishing for my downfall
You're already down below me
Believe it or not, but you will surely be
I've Never lost to any opposition
Back to sender my shield
Thanks to my guidance and protectors for steadily giving me a remedy and medicine.
What do you do with others downfall ?
I pray you experience
Whatever you're wishing for others
If offensive or keeps you stagnant
You're crazy for making others feel lazy
You can't wish others bad and be good
You must get what you give
Back to sender my remedy and medicine.
Wish me good, good be your portion
Wish me bad, bad be your portion
I'm steadily reciprocating accordingly
You can't create chaos, then enjoy peace
I pray you don't get away with
Whatever harm you do or wish on others
Back to sender my remedy and medicine.
"Your Big Special Day!"
(written by Michelle L. LeBlanc 01/10/2025)
Dedicated to Greg LeMoine for his 57th Birthday
This day is Your Big Special Day!
So this day needs to be about you!
For you give so much to so many people
Even when it's not so easy to do
You give of your time unselfishly
Giving to so many who are in need
You leave such a good example
People are inspired by your lead
And even when things aren't easy
You often don't speak a word
But silently trust in your heart
Keeping your focus undeterred
You chose a path of giving
Though you could go a different way
You created such a lovely space
Where people feel safe to stay
And in case you didn't realize
We want you to truly know
We all appreciate you so much
As you inspire people to grow
Lastly, today on your Birthday
Make sure you never forget
There are people here who care
So you can't get rid of us yet!
I am so thankful to my Dear Grandma
for such immense affection to shower -
continuous ! No full stop, no comma
with love and care always to embower.
To my Dear parents I remain grateful
to raise up me with cary protection.
My care free childhood days ran too cheerful.
Dad guided to fulfil my ambition.
To friends and associates paying ‘Thanks’
to give me full support and assistance.
Thankful to children giving them high rank.
I showed light ! Now they stand as my success.
Thanksgiving Day comes this one day a year
A simple reminder
To enjoy the simplest things in life
The nourishment of basic needs
Of family and friends (food and football!)
In whatever passes for community,
Be it small or large,
Limited to just one
Or extended across generations.
It’s a holy day but one that embraces all faiths
Reminding us to keep the faith
In what has provided for us
- Be it Earth or God, Self or other -
And what we have to live for,
For each of us have our own lives to be thankful for
No matter how painful or challenging they be
Thankful for our parents
And all the lives before
Leading up to today.
A day that can be any day
We live in thanks.

The gatherings of the souls, it's not about our vessels
It’s not about the foods meats, or vegetables
shall we cherish in thanks giving
we eat, It's not about the political or flesh nor political things
It's not about the gathering if were hold on to animosity
~
Let us gather in Agape
Let us embrace our spirit, souls and hearts;
we shall cherish in thanks giving
Ever Godly thankful for ALL things HE does;
Grateful this new day dawn...Cherish in Thanks Giving
As we are ever so shall are Cherish in thanks giving

Written words by James Edward Lee Sr. 2024©
It is the season of Giving Thanks
so I am perusing my life
for things to be thankful for
and I have so many
I give thanks for my family
and the unique personalities
that are within and most
of all the loving hearts
I give thanks for my spouse
who has travelled this road of
life with me for more than
30 love filled years
I give thanks for good friends
who make each day special
and make me laugh
even when laughter is hard
I give thanks for my creativity
and the joy that it brings to
my life each day as I express
myself with words or music
Most of all, I give thanks for
my faith, the rock on which my life
is built and the many ways that
God blesses me on a daily basis
Thank God for waking up, for opening our eyes
Another day is at hand
filled with opportunity
perhaps a wedding band
Thank God for releasing our arms from sleep
Thank God for separating the land from the water
For giving us two legs, for letting us upright walk
…not to mention creatures who think and talk
Thank God for girding us with strength
for giving us perception
in three dimensions
height, width, and length
Thank God every minute of every day
for the countless miracles He brings our way
for our elbows, shoulders, our feet down there
for our eyes, ears, nose, mouth and hair
Thank Him profusely the day before we die
Do it devotedly ~ we’ll begin to understand ‘WHY’
I thank the sun ...
The soil, the summer rain,
I thank the apple tree
The fields of golden grain
I thank the corn crops
And the pumpkin patch,
I thank the warm barn
Where new poults hatch
I thank Tom turkey ...
From down on the farm,
And the good old farmer
Who caused him no harm
I thank the potato fields
And the pecan trees,
I thank the earth ...
For bogs of cranberries
I thank this land ...
The sky and the air,
For giving all of us
These things to share.
In those long nights of doubt
when all is dark
and the soul is far from home,
who is it
that seizes the tongue
and speaks in rhythmic sound,
grants the miraculous moment
when it seems all that it asks
is for you to listen
and write the words down,
then humbly offer thanks
for the gift it has given to you.
You see beyond me
the real me that calls
you see the tears that fall
every moment you recall
you know my heart
in days where it falls apart
your pick me up when I am down
turn my world around
I am in your care
when the world seems unfair
you walk beside me all the way
no matter the kind of day
you wash my sins away
guiding me day by day
blessed in every way.
Today I’m once again thankful for children…
And how with innocence and purity they’ve been kissed
giving them the ability to see and feel things
we adults oftentimes have missed.
Which is why we need to make an effort
as within us more and more years and information are compiled
to try to find that innocence and purity in ourselves…
and if we can’t…
to rediscover it in a child.
Today I’m thankful for unexpected gifts
their praises I now sing…
for we never know how much joy and happiness
One unexpected gift will bring
Got a bag of old tokens I keep near to hand
They have served me well when travelling through this land
Never gets turned down, it's money in their banks
Each one is labelled and just simply says "Thanks"
As I move along this ol' road that I'm upon
I may visit with you but soon I will be gone
I will give you a token and point out they're free
To show you that I enjoyed your fine company
Someone had once left me, 'twas her time to depart
I carry the memories deep within my heart
She did give me a token with a hug and a grin
I will repay her when at last we meet again
So when you wake on morn, fill up your token bag
It will lift your travels whether they're good or bad
Giving thanks is like karma, it comes back to you
And after time goes by your tokens will accrue
Today I’m once again thankful for generosity…
It’s a wonderful lesson to learn:
The art of giving to another…
while expecting nothing in return.
