Samantha my cat brought me a present.
It really wasn't all that pleasant.
She brought it into my sun room door
and left it there on the floor..
I'm finally recognizing her gifting growl.
It's much more dramatic than a mere meow..
Now I'm wondering just what to do.
Does she need a thank you note for her dead shrew?
A thank you note.
It’s all we need.
It never came.
An awful deed.
It would not be fair
To punish the sibs
For one small mistake
By a fellow dibs.
A thank you note

I thought I could live alone till you showed up
Showing up to give my life the support it needed
Need became an understatement when u are close
Closer to me makes me realise I can't do without you
Without you my world is idle
Idle mind becomes lonely
Loneliness needs a partner
Partners we have become
Becoming friends the only option
The only option is us being soulmates
Soulmates a trail in disguise
Disguised are the good and bad thoughts that make us stronger
Stronger without questions
Questions without answers
Answers without reasons
Reasons we need not to acknowledge
Acknowledged we are in being together
Togetherness the only way to survive
Survivors we were in the past
The past the beginning of the present
The present the beginning of the future
The future we know nothing of
Of which I don't care because I'm safe with you
You and me will see the future through
Through every huddle that comes our way
Our way lies with Almighty
Almighty the All-Knowing.
Thank you for making me smile,
Thank you for your hugs,
If I'm not here tomorrow,
I'd like to say thank you for all your love,
Thank you for help,
Thank you for remembering me,
Its moments like these,
That make life happy,
Thank you for your forgiveness,
Thank you for your time,
God will bless you,
Given all the signs,
I give thanks to you,
Your one of a kind,
A special person like you,
Deserves my love,
my appreciation,
my many thanks,
And now I give this moment to you,
Along with my time...
A Thank You Note
Today I woke up and gave thanks to God
that I am alive and feeling a little stronger.
I also thanked him for giving me this extra
day in my life.
I also thought to myself - how do I thank
people like you, that have been so kind to
me in my time of need. I know that all your
prayers have helped me a lot. It feels nice to
have people and friends like you in my life.
We all need at least one friend in our lives and
I am very fortunate to have all of you. You are
the special people that God has put in my path.
I don't have any other way to say thank you,
than to say it from the bottom of my heart. I will
ask God to bless each and everyone of you, because
you are like Angels that help me fly when my wings
wanted to fold...

Our loss feels brief with this journey;
Our time of grief feels less gloomy.
Thank you so much for support calls;
For mindful touch, kind help and all.
As death marks plain, we turn and toss;
With heartfelt pain, we mourn our loss.
Thank you for words, for presence too;
For healing hurts, for all you do.
May joy in time ease sorrow's sting;
May lovely chimes spring cheer that sings!
