Teached Poems | Examples

You Saw Me

People saw me as broken pieces
Whose happiness is tied to wordly leases
Capable of hurting when picked up
I felt like an abandoned vicious pup.

Until you came and saw me differently
You fit your pieces to me perfectly
As if I was made to complement you
Like how orange-red is to sky blue.

In my wandering days love you teached
Your kindness touched a place light can't reach
You created a home out of what was left
With you pressing warmth, my coldness was swept.

Premium MemberPrayer For a New Year

Another year is coming to life
Praying to the Lord for the wisdom
To live an existence that reflects
The faith I have in your mercy

That peace head the world nations
Flowing the faith between humanity
Ending the senseless conflicts that
Exterminate lives without compassion

Grant me Lord to leave behind in the past
The closed doors that teached a lesson
Emerging as a new creature to your glory
In the new year that gives a second chance

Amen

Life had teached me that the lessons that are not learned in a class room.

1. Every body that laugh with your is not your friend.
2. A shaped body or a pretty face is not guarantee of success.
3. Singlehood is not a condemn, specially for women, in a society
when marriage is over rated as a symbol of triumph, and if you
do not fulfill the parameter, directly or undirectly, is implied that
    you are a misfit.
4. Health conditions is not an excuse to give up to your dreams,
    unless is disabling.
5. Share time of quality with family and friends. You never know
when is the last day on Earth for them or for you.
6. Contemplate a sunset and twilight. Magnific creations of nature.
7. Do not fear the future. Expect the best
8. Dwelling in the past is a waste of time. You cannot change it. Pass
    the page.
9. Take care of yourself. Is part of self love.
10. Love you in an unselfish way. You cannot love any body, without love you
     first.

A Preacher and a Teacher

A Preacher and a Teacher
Dr. James E. Martin
©May, 2013

The preacher preached with all his might
Sunday morning and Sunday night.
The teacher taught day after day
In her unique and confident, scholarly way.

If the preacher preached
Has the teacher teached?
Or if the teacher taught
Did the preacher praught?

Interesting thought in all of this,
Or have I something amazingly missed?
I guess the answer may never be found
With all the geniuses hanging around.

Untouchable I Am

My heart can't be reached
My mind can't be teached
My eyes I cannot blink
My life I can't believe
Untouchable I am
Cause my words will not speak
But when my soul gives in
Its my love you cannot seek
Untouchable I am

My Diamond ( My Grandmother)

Woman of God,
A Diamond is what you are,
Beautiful & special & sweet,
A diamond a person would strive for,
Built with the lord's armor,
A diamond is the hardest thing to break,
You are shielded and protected by God,
You are my diamond,
My diamond with much wisdom,
You may be a short statue,
But you are wealthy and rich,
In my heart and in the eyes of the lord,
This is simply your time,
Your time and honor,
You deserve.
You lived a wonderful life,
Guided us and teached us the right thing to do,
And I appreciate you,
My pastor, my beautiful grandmother,
And my honorable Diamond,
Prophetess E. J. Woodford!!

Looking To

Looking into eyes as people worry how they will get by,
some pay no mind to the unfortunate blind to empathy for they can afford it,
parents minds race in hope for there children to have a place,
the eyes of the old see, the past is gone and health care isn't free,
as the world turns compassion burns,
what once was is now gone as we try to listen to what went wrong,
are forefathers didn't intend this to happen yet here we stand with no one laughing,
we saved for a rainy day we payed what we had to pay,
lived with in our means we teached our kids to be green'
to be continued battery low.

Reaping What You Sow

Look.
I'm not saying your wrong
What I am sayin to your face is
YOU ARE NOT RIGHT
you're an educated racist
our children cannot inherit that
and you're angry with me now
I embarressed you
when you love our daughter
she is beautiful and latino
and suddenly, you're not true?
She is different?
You know I find it unbearable
how you emphatically stated
we should run all latinos out
you're racist comments
your very sin, not mine
but what you teached
I never agreed with
these kids, they respect you
But my sweet, intelligent, darlin man
you are a damn fool

Realizing Love

Long roads had teached us what we needed to know,
It was not our time back then, but time for us individual to grow.

As time passed by a lot I have learned,
History will not repeat itself, no need to be concerned.

I will not vanish like once before,
I appreciate and adore you even more.

I want to thank you for the person that you are,
The light in my life, my shining star!

You have the full package, as perfect as a man could be,
I consider myself very lucky if you'd like to be with me!

Admirer

When i grow up im gonna be just like you is what he said,
And no matter what that thought couldnt be changed in his head,
Im gonna dress and do everything you've done he preached,
And no matter how hard nothing else could be teached,
He used to say im gonna copy everything and follow the exact same street,
Seeing and meeting all the same things you had to meet,
Everyone knew my life had been long and hard,
Unsuccessfully they tried to keep his mimicking of me barred,
Knowing it would lead him to where he is now in the ground,
He would of never made it living in the conditions id been around,
It was a one in a million chance for me living like i did to make it through,
For some reason he envied my lifestyle and thought he could do it too
