You Saw Me
People saw me as broken pieces
Whose happiness is tied to wordly leases
Capable of hurting when picked up
I felt like an abandoned vicious pup.
Until you came and saw me differently
You fit your pieces to me perfectly
As if I was made to complement you
Like how orange-red is to sky blue.
In my wandering days love you teached
Your kindness touched a place light can't reach
You created a home out of what was left
With you pressing warmth, my coldness was swept.
