heaven too is a domain
Hiranyagarbha, the cosmic egg
though bliss falls like light rain
for its pleasure we beg
dance of polarities
manifests bliss magnetism
renunciation and austerities
illumines body-mind prism
glistening chakras seven
fixates therein our attention
taking this as heaven
tarnishes our meditation
higher yet we must go
where no pheromones mingle
light of Self, white like snow
where our eye is single
dwelling in peace, feeling complete
at a singularity point
merging with God’s heartbeat
our Self He does anoint

It tarnishes the void we try to fill,
life on Earth gives need for it still,
harder we work the faster we fade,
calloused existence isn't something we evade,
given fuel by what we think we need,
desire, hunger, thirst; it's name is Greed,
sour taste with a resonance of mold,
pockets never fill with warmth only cold,
try and try again you''ll never get past this sin,
insane because it ends and you then ask "Where to begin?"

Mum said, "No sex before marriage,
It tarnishes the union’s carriage.”
I’m in her wedding photo,
What happened to her motto?
Why the rain of words that discourage?

Lee Retiree, 66 Remix
Never one to be lazy,
Lee’s energy astonishes,
Clarity hallmark avoids the hazy,
Kristie et. al. he garnishes,
Materials investigator a la Dick Tracy,
Friends, Lee never tarnishes,
Quick stick moves as a Blue Jay,
Loyalty, he harnesses,
Learned from all at Poly,
Save the nobility (Kedusha),
Of the morning (Youthfully),
For some, retiree harshness,
An evening, but we wish Lee’s a dawning Be!

Why am I lonely with you dear
where did the magic disappear
when you don't call
doesn't bother me at all
when were together
it feels if we rather
be somewhere else
with someone else
there is no thrill
your eyes tell
the magic between us is gone
what was so right now seems so wrong
Try as we might
no sparks of delight
just excuses to excuse
the gold tarnishes to blues
together we are a bore
the nights are such a snore
why am I so lonely with you
We need a shake up
even a break up
looks like for us it's over
time to be adults and act sober
no goodbyes
it was a good try
lets both escape
before this turns into hate
we can always be friends
let this end to begin
somewhere else with someone new
no more being lonely for me or for you...

the world lulled into a waltz
tis blurry who talks the talk
hopscotch scrawls who walks the walk
future visions blow hot and cold
life with no purpose gets mighty old
seems high five awes don’t erase the flaws
lessons with no plot get no applause
lackluster society doesn’t connect the dots
this dilly-dally world tarnishes the bot
gumption and prudence still adrift
mankind’s journey a repetitive tiff
repeat after me, life’s still a gift

Sore is the vision in front
Of heavens day gaze
Brilliance shines the dawn
Blinded by the stars
Morning lists summer smogs
Smoke stench tarnishes the air and wind
Blinded by the synthetic sunlight
Everything is blended outright

When my mother said
“Be mindful of your reputation,”
It was a lesson I took to heart,
For once a reputation is ruined
It can never be restored,
It tarnishes the life forever.
Mindfulness is a vital part of caring
And something that should reside
Inside our critical awareness,
Like realizing without being told
The plight of a friend or co-worker,
Doing the kind thing unbidden.
Being mindful of our reputation
Guides how we respond to others
With “random acts of kindness,”
We want it said that we are mindful,
Giving, thoughtful, of good report,
When someone speaks of us.

Dark clouds rise from the blue sea of sorrow
Surge in the storm wind onto my eyes’ visage
Dissolve to turn into torrents of tear to flow
Like the raindrop rills on the face of foliage.
Suffused with desolation of molten grief
The tear drops glimmer on the eyelash tip
Like the raindrops on the edge of lean leaf
With soothing solace downward they slip.
Wasteland dust of despair tarnishes life pale
The new sun rises on dunes of broken heart
Consoling rays of hope illumine the tear trail
Etching grief on the moving mirage in desert.

Who tends a vase
while flowers wilt and rot within?
Who turns to polish glass or pot
when contents should remove to bin?
When stench ascends,
and nostrils turn aside and clench
because of staining sin,
it tarnishes the gold within
meant only for His glory.
Why obsess this cracked and fragile pot,
the look, the pout, the in the out.
Why preen the outer fashion seen
and not the inner beauty
of a spirit washed and clean.
The beauty of the body,
made to display the soul,
becomes an idol temple
when treated with this goal.
To worship God's creation
mistakes creation's role.
This body goes from dust to dust
and without it we will stand
to give our final soul's account
without its helping hand.

How many people on this planet may
be able to declare they’ve known true love?
I do not mean the kind that goes away
when things get bad because there’s plenty of
that kind of love! It’s often based on lust,
for give it time. . . the sparkle it would show
soon tarnishes and then it turns to rust.
Hollywood romances. At first they glow!
You see them in the headlines. Do not think
to envy them! So few of them survive.
Regard the couples who when on the brink
of chaos still stay strong! Learn how they thrive!
Through good times and through bad you will know bliss
if you can say you’ve tasted true love’s kiss.

I'm fifty percent married if you know what I mean
Glued to her computer sure tarnishes the sheen
For better or worse
Didn't account for this curse
Kiss in the morning, then off to her machine

Statue and Mercury
Statue
mono-lithic, massive
Shining, captivating, radiating
Glimpse lifts soul ; tarnishes precious gold
Dissolving, poisoning, reacting
Silvery, liquid-metal

Everybody lies; it's part of the norm,
for truth, like a coin, tarnishes with age.
Honesty, being a stickler for form,
is best portrayed in movies or on stage.
Everybody cries; it's what humans do,
it is all part of love's ultimate price.
And the pain of betrayal's nothing new,
lovers oft break up like a sea of ice.
Everybody suffers to some degree,
yet I can't ignore the pain in my heart.
And if my feelings were to be set free,
they'd undoubtedly tear my soul apart.
Everybody has felt the pain I feel,
so, why do I think it's such a big deal?

What are the things that tarnishes wishes
Which is when I became deeply suspicious
Was it a word in a poem I recently read?
Which way by word was I being lead?
Maybe such a word was useless and trite
In poem not perfect or fit exactly right
So at it decided to take another look
With only one word could I write book?
Should word be would or possibly could?
How about clear or maybe misunderstood?
Either left, right, sight or only pronoun me
Going on a strike or out when there are three.
Then there is winner, loser, keeper and goal
Weeper when ball was not between each pole
In football there is such a word as intercept
Not on purpose but poor player was inept.
Which one of these words should you choose?
And if not properly interpreted, you will lose
And why do some people appear to be dumb
When in England word mom is really mum.
Is that why we here in America always say
mum's the word?
