torrents of tears flowed
when he saw a sea dragon
beached dehydrated
for he knows that it like him
could only shed tears on land
the tears were salty
welling from bag of sea brine
in the ocean's blood
he harbored in his body
as fluid to bathe his cells
he needed to cry
but till now tears would not spill
weeping on ebb tide
to wash moribund eyes clean
and inhale with a fresh breath
he fights the current
gripping on to refusals
yet the water wins
the dragon prowls in the foam
its searing breath flares fear
one tear another
fell soft on scalded shadow
fell on dragon's eyes
sending the sand grit flying
washing the stall clean of grime
fear sinks in the tide
form of the trial changes
relief opens gate
as ocean consumes his past
dragon wings have unfolded
tears were the pivot
to beat the challenge
breaking resistance
setting sails on favored wind
on the course past the dragon
sometimes lovers meet
kiss and share a bite to eat
one desires sweetmeat
not dessert an extra treat
to savour another’s teat
IN AND OF CREATION’S RESPONSIBILITY
(A Tanka 3 For The 6 and 7 days Given You & Me)
God simply whispered,
“...Be light…”! And here we all are:
All engaged in war!
A world created in love:
Peacefully, worded from up above:-
Why can’t we not see,
A world given you and me,
For all to live free?
Satin’s only role for us;
The awareness of disgust:-
War, Satin’s disgust:
The self-destruction of us;
Waring dawn to dust:-
This evil must now cease;
Praising God in loving peace!
I know my partner
well and nigh, do tell a lie
for he stop smoking ~
but the loo has a chimney
that puffs white smoke, pokes the Pope
Start off small and slow.
Just never make me so low.
Look forward again
To when you will make me glow.
Please accept the love I show.
stability
is not obtained by
straightforward solutions ~
compromise, twists and turns
bypass obstacles
sun shower
nature's row
mirrors my mind
while thinking of you
cruel, beautiful you
justice casts a shadow
telling the time on a sundial
echoing retribution
to come when power play
shifts to reverse
One quiet hour
that's all He asks me to do
meditating once a day
contemplating Bible scenes
praying for wisdom
Rusty appliance
sit smile sleep slighted succumb
dead end offspring
foreign cultures revere us
disposable waste
It is a new year
And I am still here waiting.
The future is clear,
For very soon I can choose
Living alongside you, dear.
Sidewalk spring rain steps
years of tetter-totter angst
Main St. love apocalypse
Relationship on the rocks
Haystack needle search weary
He tried to be good,
Equally to everyone.
“How foolish he is!”,
The comment came in return.
Has man evolved fully yet?

she is caught off guard
anger rears out of her heart
snake like words come forth
he jumps back as if bitten
relationship dismal now
A daddo's desire
memories of your childhoods
my gleam of fatherhood
I "Prophet" your lives alone
Our times Together
