Happy Mother's Day!
Praising our navel givers:
Keloiders of life:-
Thank you for our belly scars,
Keeping you with us forever:-
Creators of God,
You were given sacred life,
And passed it to us;
Naveling us in our lives,
Keeping you with us forever:-
my new foster mom
stays one step ahead of me
planting seeds of forgiveness;
unlike my step mom
who merely plowed up my heart
How lovely it is,
Birthing child on Mother's Day.
An example of
Someone who has made her way
To fulfilling motherhood.
Mothering Sunday
old men weeping, daffodils
at the graveyard gate
sons and daughters, motherless
everyone somebody's child

1935 MOTHER
i’m remembering
how she smiled and did without
her good night stories
how she sent my ship of dreams
sailing puff skies clear waters
and remembering
that loving smile each morning
her outright courage
courage in face of despair
making do the making do
we never wanted
hard times never spoken of
but her worry shown
i was such a happy kid
after all these years thanks mom
