Premium MemberYesterdays Have Already Passed

The rich green leaves of Summer die in Autumn
like a love that is no more
both defenseless to the currents of change
tumbling toward an unfamiliar stream
flowing out of a sea
where yesterdays have already passed
carrying dusted memories, entwined by the twist of life
where wishes are hidden with lost stars
of memorialized misperceptions
having come and gone like vanishing time
when the shivering swathe arrived
taking both the leaves and love
on a hopeless journey to non-existence
when emotionless worlds acquired their life-blood
causing my eyes to flow with streams
out of a sea of sadness

Premium MemberMemento On The Moon

Nothing lies between charming Eve and her,
portrayed in the radiant face of rainbow hue,
shimmering with an enigmatic smile.
The charisma of the spectacular still life,
created layer on layer by maestro Vinci,
activates the sense of awe in the luring visage,
with the eyes of crystal stars dreaming cosmic dreams.
The tinsels of charm swathe the mesmerized hearts,
pulsating with beguiling celestial cadence.
The aura of exquisite brilliance spreads the veil of mystery
on the grand masterpiece of superb living art.
The metaphors of her relentless appeal
define women’s enduring eternal magnificence,
worthy of memento in lunar luminescence.

Premium MemberSplendor Of Nature

The brook murmurs as it flows on the plateau,
across the draping emerald forest spread out opulent,
splashes on the curved contours of the lowland
as flicking cascade of the soaring swan flock in flight.

It meanders on the jagged swathe clad with ferns,
sprinkles with exuberance the splatter of pearls.
It glides with sigh through the drizzle of rain,
warbles in musical whisper with the ripple of air.

Flying over the crystal water that wheezes as it flows,
the returning robins chirp the springtime song.
As in the boughs of trees the new leaves rustle,
beguiled butterflies flitter around the flowers.

The shimmering night sky above the silhouetted canopy,
wears bejwelled crown shining with the twinkle of stars,
silver tinsels trickle through the moonbeam film,
in a trance I’m charmed by the splendor of nature.

Old Tree

Old tree...
Down at the middle of the vale
Telling tales of an ancient people
And their lore

Around are  hilly peaks
Silent in the disquiet below
And just a little while,
The rain will come;
Crawling and calling,
Crashing...
In torrents,
Seeking all true natures disciples
And paint the land in refreshing ink
With morning dew and a green swathe

Wild flowers don't bloom here
But I see the green just as pink,
Just as yellow and just as sweet
Its just a little closer to heaven

They will charge you a dollar
For some water or Cola
As they wait on you, in soft velvet collars
And to behold such beauty
Is not about profit
No one ever pays to get to heaven

Still...
Old tree telling tales of an ancient time
When lions roamed and roared
And herdsmen trembled for their flock
A time when there were no roads
And heaven was full mosquitoes and disease
Old tree..

Lugubrious blue mood skies funereal and morose shed raindrops,
they unleash tableau vivant torrent’s wet tranche,
blessing, bane or boon from vault of heaven,
damp pearl blob bewitching moisture mellow morph form,
the stuff of less than benign grumpy weather grouch,
whose plight infuses yen for sun-drenched bliss,
haven of the ultra-violet swathe enthusiast,
for others raindrops are a liquid gem relish firmament bequeathed,
to whet voracious craving of nascent pastures,
whose gaunt green blade emaciating stillborn,
that aqueous honey to hue-blazed floral garden in situ bloomers,
who swallow cloudburst drizzle meed in muted slurps,
droplet streak and spiral bubble patten on top hung awning window,
empyrean tear beads that roof top tap dance ritual,
so tantalising to the awestruck spellbound eardrum,
or impromptu downward dribbles on romantic saunterers,
prompting boisterous laughter as they flaunt their dome transparent chromium truss umbrella,
those enraptured red-blooded refugees beneath tilting gust spun bumbershoot,
as mud splatter cherry cheek urchins shriek,
amid the spray and splash globules at agile finger tips

Premium MemberYellow

Marigolds, pansies, sunflowers, tulips, and carnations
Bird or beast, fish, or all mountainous valley temptations
Zircon, sapphire, topaz, citrine, jade, garnet, and beryl
Gold, brass, copper, or any yellow-coloured metal
In my Indian culture, I know, yellow brings gladness.
Its little glimpse brings, they say, zeal and zest to its fullness

Yellow-wrapped invitation cards; yellowish gold culled words
Do you know that in India, we had gold-gilded swords?
Whether you win or lose, auspiciousness is what matters.
Yellow is the witch, we know, by whom each evil shatters.
Has my house painted yellow ever peeled off? I don't know
When it comes to shades, it's with yellow that I seem to flow.

It's a germ killer. It's In turmeric water, we bathe.
With quality and quantity of gold, our brides we swathe
With yellow in rare shades, their villa is decorated
Will they live so long, or will they soon get separated?
This is why they ask me, "Why is yellow the best?" I say:
In my nation, sure, there are 130 shades of yellow. Anyway

THE WISH

As the softer rose shades of twilight fades
With a heartfelt gravity, darkness descends
Oblivious to the North winds stinging bite
‘Neath this star-speckled sky, his devotion extends

to that quintessential ‘Component of Time’ that stills
surrendering to the moment, most mortals miss
In this mystical flash of sweet dispose
His ardent wish for her ~ An ‘Immortal Rose’

His Mother ~ so graciously accepting her thorns
Qualms have not stolen her persona, its joy
Unbent by toil, a conqueror of storms
A courageous heroine in the eyes of her boy

Why can’t love embodied in rose petals last?
In solemn simplicity, a child’s query gets passed
Swathe in crystalline warmth from a galaxy far
Gifted Immortality is borne ~ on wings of a star

An eagle spirit conquers storms of adversity,
like a silent soul floats amongst the sky's artistry.
Soaring higher, ascending further from perception,
Free from judgemental realities of deception.

Through silver-rippled clouds, glimpses of sun's projection,
Animals, hills and streams merely blurred perfection.
Cocooned in silent tranquillity, brightly scintillating,
Elevated flow of peace astral souls stimulating.

Drifting like peaceful streams, formless in spirituality,
Floating nonchalantly lured by the moon's hospitality.
Stars illuminate, creating the path's foundations,
Soul ascends carefree from a life of tribulations.

Swathe in the crystalline warmth of a galactic revelation,
merging with the Universe in its empyrean constellation.
Released from worldly strife in its final aspirations,
Soul reaches joyous heights in its heavenly inspirations.

Premium MemberIn the Shadows of Your Sultry Breath

Wrap me in the shadows of your sultry breath, Oh ! night Divine
glide me through your hazy path where moonstruck I will
gaze upon your silvery moon and swoon ;
Take me to new heights of heaven, Oh! night Divine
cloth me with shivers, send me rivulets of light down my spine
Blaze me like you do the stars then ink me, for all that I am.
before the shadows of your Sacred Night.
Oh ! night Divine...
Swathe me like an opulent ghost in your path, Oh! night Divine
Though I be flesh and bone this opaque soul is thirsty for a somber view
so take me to the edge of your shadow, for I'm a firefly in motion
beneath your shadowed parapet, I'm an evening primrose willing to die,
Oh! night Divine, ...Oh! night Divine,
won't you be mine.

Premium MemberTree

The cascading contours of the verdant mountain slope
hold me, an upstanding cone of jade coniferous pine,
gilded in gold soaked from the swathe of snow,
turned to mirror flakes by the sun of dawn.

Cinnabar glaze I get from crimson cloud passing
through the twilight gleam to the fiery horizon’s fold.
As the polar wind lancet abrades the frozen topography,
my senses shiver in the winter chill on the tips of needles.

The shroud of silence falls with the drizzle of still night,
the cerulean stardust shines on my silken visage,
shimmering in my dream to slice the misty air,
and soar in the satin sky to touch the stars.

The reverie comes true some other time,
when in festival of joy to a far-off place I go
as the Christmas tree crowned by sapphire stars.
My desire to be with stars is fulfilled in Christmas time

I hear the spring in the rustling of blooms
I gasp and snort your beautiful perfumes
Oh, spring your hidden wangle taper trees
Convey me all you've revealed to the seas

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Welcome autumn, under this starry sky
Let your bright harvest moonshine in my eye
Kiss me, fall, in a cool entrancing path
Will turn all you touch into a bright swathe.
“Nocturnal silk sheathes the woods,
moon dust laces lattice on lush leaves,
fireflies flash on the trail of dream”. By Poet
The opaque film of darkness spreads silently
out of the cauldron of infinite emptiness,
that the sky shapes at the edge of the dwindling dusk,
its condensed vestige configures the amorphous night.
The black tapestry stretches the silken swathe
to the hinge of the hazy horizon where twilight dissolves
like the rainbow melting on the skyline,
from where the satin shade flows to form the fluid night.
The sound of sensual silence echoes in the night sky,
wakes up the sleeping stars to sparkle bright
on the bejeweled crown adorning the amorous ambiance,
with the moonbeam strands I weave the dream of you.
In the stardust sprinkled sapphire night I see you
emerge out of my dream like an angel,
and walk in the craving corridor of my mind,
my love embraces you with nocturnal charm.
A maiden fair
  would never dare
In the desert of my forlorn life,
across your desiccating dunes I wander
enticed by your volatile mindscape,
I rise from the dust in your swathe.
My longing languishes to be
in the shade of the oasis of your love,
in your arms, sheltered from desert storm,
away from dismal bleakness of wasteland.
From the desolate tree of yearning
I am a dislodged leaf of dream,
rustling with the melancholic tune,
on its journey to the depth of abyss.
I drift across the dunes of denial,
as the scorching sun smolders my desire,
mirage on sands of time designs delusion,
breaks my heart, I shoulda seen it comin’.
The unwavering faith molds the mind
for its inward journey to the eternity,
life turns into a turbulent river,
the currents of contemplation interlace,
and carry the elements of innate reflection.
The ultimate merger with the serene sea,
shaping the fathomless soul,
manifests in the final amalgamation
with the aspects of infinite bliss,
sublimating the essence of mental motif.
The swirling currents of the vagrant mind
find the course of introspection to the absolute
through the layers of consciousness,
disappear in the shade beneath the divine lamp
that illumines the swathe of dark acuity.
The soul then shines in the spiritual glow,
reflecting the patina of the perception lotus,
as the self-searching comprehension odyssey ends
in the seamless sanctum of the supreme,
the oneness configures into thought rested awareness.
