In the Shadows of Your Sultry Breath

Wrap me in the shadows of your sultry breath, Oh ! night Divine glide me through your hazy path where moonstruck I will gaze upon your silvery moon and swoon ; Take me to new heights of heaven, Oh! night Divine cloth me with shivers, send me rivulets of light down my spine Blaze me like you do the stars then ink me, for all that I am. before the shadows of your Sacred Night. Oh ! night Divine... Swathe me like an opulent ghost in your path, Oh! night Divine Though I be flesh and bone this opaque soul is thirsty for a somber view so take me to the edge of your shadow, for I'm a firefly in motion beneath your shadowed parapet, I'm an evening primrose willing to die, Oh! night Divine, ...Oh! night Divine, won't you be mine.

Humanly romantic while heavenly -- lofty intermingling, blissful compromise between body and soul longing for divine transfiguration. The Moonbeams and Stardust of poetic dreamers. I can relate. A joy to read.
