Up and Then Down

As the world turns
adjustments are made.
Spinning around as life enviably moves up and then down -
Heard without much sound.
Unless one listens closely to the noises which are created from all which surrounds.
UP and DOWN.

Max’s Angel in Surround Sensation

pink paragon
renders no features;
a buoyant olive
shouldered above florid wings.
golden halo, open ring.
nature’s schmooze, profound.
deeply saturated midnight
in the labyrinth of the deep.
peacock blush of fancied feathers.
the heart beats
a magnanimous red,
emphatically so,
with corona seeds
like rays of the sun.

Max’s angel in surround sensation
would overwhelm the flesh.
the scent of peak, kaleidoscopic climax, meridian elocution -
an euphoric Eden.

Surround Sound

Butterfly 
Passing by
It's colors catch my eye
Sitting silently watching all,
Around the corner comes fall
Looking around there is so much to see
Leaning against this tree
Watching nature play
Such a beautiful day
Leaves are changing 
The colors rearranging 
Birds chirping all around
Such a harmonious symphony is natures sound
This is where my peace is found

Whatever is good is God.
Whomever chooses to be bad is just evil
So let the foul pollute himself.
Whomever continues to lie let them lie

Butterflies Will Surround Me

When I die I will become a princess she told us.
My satin dress will be full of vivid flower prints.
They will be so lifelike, butterflies will surround me.
I will look fabulous, and my hair will be curly.

Shadows Surround Me

Shadows surround me in
    my den of iniquity
  Satanic sprites flit across walls
    faint traces of smoke inhabit the halls

  I draw forth my sword
    Lunge at the air
  Alas and alack ~
    I've laid my Muse bare

Unicorn Dreams Surround His Mind

Unicorn dreams surrounded his mind
He was a docile man, caring and kind.

Pixies and dervish were chased away.
This was a sweet soul, Mr. La Cray.

Pink angels were called to give him some grace
Saint Peter met him with an impulsive embrace

Rainbows appeared and someone played a harp.
He had a gentle soul and was empathetically sharp.

Grains of Sand Surround Her

She is enclosed in his makeshift hourglass he has buried her within surrounded by grains of sand that trickle past
She is immobilized as she tries to see through the pain of her tears, but her vision is blurred by the smeared glass that she has smudged with her rising fear

In Silk and Dreams, breakfast at Tiffany’s 
nights of lavender lace, mornings with dew 
a highlighted garden of mysteries
waterfall wishes, windblown thoughts of you

In a playground of desire, succeeded
candle flickering a flame, whispers true

Queens Surround Messy King

The piles of pills and magazines
Amid Kleenex boxes and paraffin’s.
Bring a crazy look to the house of the queens.

Queen of clutter retaining her piles 
Queen of hoarding tries on different smiles
Queen of procrastination putting on miles.

Let’s clean this place up suggests the king.
He is truly the worst messer most have seen.
But hey none of them

The Walls Surround Me

The walls surround me 
And my thoughts don’t let me be
For the one I love has gone
To leave me all alone

I struggle through these long days
And I cry whilst sadness stays
For when I made mistakes
The heartache now is more than I can take

In the dark
Is where you will find yourself 
If you do not shape up
And get some help
Avoid hanging around bad company 
For they are the ones who bring you down 
There is a cloudy scenery
You will fall right to the ground

Surround Me

You know they speak a lot 
Yet no words leap from their tongues
So loud
You can't hear a sound
Darkness surrounding me
But I still see
Why is this happening to me?
Searching for clarity
To only find uncertainty
Is this too much for me?

There is no light
At the end of the tunnel
