Wems Henry Temmy Psalm 1

The joy of this season is what designs this new year
It lingers in my heart, body and soul of praise with cheer
I sing of His royalty; my heart sings
He drums supportively in loyalty despite of my nature; oh King of kings
Truly the lord is good; outstanding is Him in His dealings, oh great lord!
Taking over; over pranks, tease and frankness- the charge of unseen sword
I sing of His royalty; my heart sings
He drums supportively in loyalty despite of my nature; oh King of kings
O my heart, scream Hallelujah to most high
For He is mighty and powerful
I sing of His royalty; my heart sings
He drums supportively in loyalty despite of my nature; oh King of kings
And His description never goes on off sigh
What a name than others really beautiful!
I sing of His royalty; my heart sings
He drums supportively in loyalty despite of my nature; oh King of kings

The Essence of Poets:Not For a Contest

Tis not I that shall reveal one poet for promotion
Have mercy on this fledgling for having that notion
Equally, I admire many with awesome devotion

Everyone I've met has been so friendly and kind
Singling out just one? To do that, I'm not inclined
Simply put, Thanks to all those who come to mind
Encouraging me until my poems are more refined
Not one of them shall be overlooked or maligned
Comments made to me are supportively aligned
Each time I sign in, I read their poetry and unwind

Opposed am I, to paying tribute to merely one
For that good reason, I'll drop the names of none

Perhaps you think I'm wrong to think this way
OK, but I won't choose as if they were on a buffet
Enlisting poets to honor one another? I'd say 'yay'
To do it in a fashion in which many are on display
Sorry if this hurts your feelings. I've had my say.

Premium Member It's Not Your Fault

"It's not your fault," he said to me supportively.
"That's The Point!" I shouted back angrily.
"I did everything I could do to try and save her.
It's not my fault that she died anyway?
Why on earth would you think that would make me feel better?"

Minstrel and Muse

Serenading me with vivid poetry
Her pen extends thoughts so lovely
Weaving words into graceful birds
     heart-felt phrases deftly placed
Feeling is conveyed in lines well displayed
     stanzas of emotion perfectly painted

Beauty not contained in just script on page,
     Her eyes search kindly smiling
Lips pursed to quench kiss thirst
Welcoming as only sincerity can be
Empathy radiates in the care she demonstrates
     Angelesque pursuit of nourishing soul
........................................................................

Where prose meets pose...she models from either side
touches with words, caresses with sentiment
Inspires my writing by supportively guiding
This lady's both Minstrel AND Muse

Us

hand in hand
we have begun a journey;
    soulful exchanges
      self and lover
    world and nature
    tenderly, openly
     supportively
 flowing... integrating
growth, love, and trust,
         becoming
             us
