Engrossing sunbirds,
bees and butterflies
Smirks subtly
a cluster of wildflowers
Dispersing seeds
Through wind and rain
A barren monotonous plain
the wildflowers pervade
Singing to the tunes of bees
Waving to the songs of breeze
The wildflowers set a dais
to please the audience
Cosmos, the team head
Vibrant colors they widespread
Dandelions, the collaborators
Destined to list our wishes good
The divine scent they proliferate around
Is all enough to spellbound-
the novel flies, all perform a lovely play
And leave us astounded every day
Engrossing sunbirds,
bees and butterflies
enthrall vividly
a cluster of wildflowers

The sunny pleasures of cactus blooms,
brighten aged gold, and sunset rooms,
Like sunbirds flitting in purple plumes,
once dusk has known many perfumes.
Prickly cactus blooms, orange sun gift,
Also enjoyed during the dawn red shift.
Denizens of golden gritty sand, hottest,
creating dunes where the wind is swift.

Sunbirds
Build strong nest
Nest falls in storm,
They build thrice, don't give up...

Chorus of birds
deafening the city traffic.
Babblers with fluttering wings
hop about in nonstop chatter.
Little sunbirds with jewel like wings
hunt their prey, who hang down
from silvery silk threaded webs.
Playful squirrels, still in their youth
race up and down
on the rough surfaces
of gnarled and aged trees and walls.
Little saplings of moss creep through
the cracks and walls.
And up on little sprigs,
meditates the lizard, inhaling the cool fresh air.
While bees buzz and hover
over fully opened blossoms
that dance in the wind.
The wind that carries a blossom's fragrance
the happiness of the birds
and the peace of the greenery.
Thus, come, breath the bliss of this Paradise
and may it purify you from within.

Dreams are Angels kisses
A wet mist in the morning as the sun comes up
The leaves of the plants shimmering with anticipation of the sun
Dew drops magnifying the beauty of each single petal of a flower.
The sunbirds chirping in the bushes
Their brilliant colours like sequins glittering in the sun
Flashing here and there like a glow worm at night.
How beautifully made!
Dreams are Angels Kisses
The rolling waves before the night
The cooler air as the sun glistens and shimmers on water
The scent of the ocean as the sun kisses the sea.
A shiver down your spine.
Yes dreams are Angels Kisses

Coffee bean scent still fills the air
with each new sunrise in our log cabin.
My arms around me embrace the winds of winters gone
On every sky-night glass-panes glow in silent mist
Lunar limbs stream through bedroom blinds
reflecting shadows on empty sheets.
Star clusters shine 'bove velvet shores
Sand-wish away from my bare toes.
Another day,another month,another year
and other thoughts.
I can't freeze time or make a clone.
First magnolia blooms on a bare branch
Buzzing bees extract nectar from a moist corolla
Pastel wings flutter on melting icicles
Sunbirds return in a sweet song
But what is a song without the symphony
What is music with no slow dance?
His Hand-pressed petal still marks the chapter
between stained pages.
The dusty shelves recall my mind
recall my heart,recall my soul.
For the last time of many a time
these eyes would linger
Before leaves curl,before buds wither
Before moon moves on
and I let go.

Sat silent, beneath friendly hills,
I absorb the peacefulness and relax.
Observe sunbirds’ hovering skills,
The green shimmer of their malachite backs.
In my mind the scene I capture.
Blue shadows across the mountains creep,
In the distance are shades of mauve and grey,
Like guardians that never sleep
Magnificent they stand keep watch today
And my heart and soul enrapture.
The water shines like polished glass,
The dam reflects the beauty of the trees,
Birds skim the tips of tawny grass,
The air is warm, there’s no hint of a breeze.
White storks walk with stately stature.
Sat silent, beneath friendly hills,
Quietness is tangible. I can feel
It deeply inside, my mind stills.
It’s as if I’ve come here simply to kneel
Before the altar of nature.

For the last time before tomorrow
these eyes would linger ,

Before moons move on, and I let go.

TOMMY
Blessed are the souls that sing;
A smile their song, laughter their words,
Whose hearts, though burdened, still take wing
Like radiant sunbirds.
Though Life could sink them with its weight,
Or pinion them with care,
And rein them Earthbound, chained by Fate,
They much prefer the air.
In their bright, empyrean flight,
They carry us along,
And we, like tag tails, hang on tight –
Enchanted by their song.

MYSTIC SPRING
A Methusalean warp,
In-and-out of body time,
When renewal seems to split.
Soul conceives a mystic pair,
One, atop, with fresh tulips
One neath a burial wreath
This dichotomy cries out,
One from cackling, mortal fear
Unknown dimension other
But allow those sunbirds sing
Gather new thy hoary self
And accept this mystic spring

Crimson sunbirds
Flying, in phase with
The sun and
Carving out
Their space
Bringing this
Pastel blue sky
