I see some lucky black people
Complaining of lack of finance
While walking on golds , sulphurs,
Coltans, emeralds and diamonds.
Some people make jock of them
As they don't solve their problems
While continue issuing verbal ultimatum
to some local political leaders.

The keepers of the flowers’ secrets arrive in their season
Monarch, viceroy, red-spotted purples, given a good reason.
They bring fantasy and delight to the lilacs and bleeding heart.
Keeping their confidence is what they do so wise and smart.
Faeries and bumblebees try to get in on the confidence action.
But they end up not learning anything to the tulip’s satisfaction.
You see, the zebra swallowtails and orange sulphurs too.
Know how to keep secrets from the likes of them, me and you.
We hide in the meadow, and try to not look interested at all.
In swoops the great spangled fritillary, landing on lilac so tall.
We lean our ears toward the garden, acting nonchalant and lazy.
Fooling not one monarch or zinnia, delighting the lilies and daisy.

A lush green tranquil field
Hides it's secrets well
Once a muddy blood stained land
Were many young life
Was sadly taken far from home
In a living foreboding hell
The rattling of the Huns machine gun
The deafening pounding of falling shells
Filled many young boy with dread and fear
Who shed their anguished tears
That burned from trembling heart.
During the Malay of confusion
Admit the dense chocking sulphurs smoke
The ground quakes and shakes
As the relentless fury of hell is unleashed
UNFINISHED.

*White Sulphurs*
Gliding around my shoulders on a warm cozy afternoon
Dashing and diving to my cabbage patch depositing their love
For every time I see one my heart rises up new hope
For every time I see one my energy soars to the heavens
Oh how I wish I could fly like the white sulphur butterfly that is upon me!
How I wish I could ascend to the heavens and then sky dive below!
How I wish the cares of this world would leave me
Transporting the pressures of this life to fall upon my cabbage patch below
Oh to be a butterfly for just one afternoon!
See their descent of twirling and spinning
See their descent of gleeful decree
Oh to be like a white sulphur butterfly!
Oh to spring forth on a majestic journey!

The Devil got the sack last week
He’s feeling at a loss
For several thousand years now
He’s been in charge, the boss
The new man’s changing everything
Hired a whole new team
The place is so much nicer
A more relaxed regime
Red hot pokers up the ****
De rigueur, they are not
Only those that ask, will get
A poker up their bot
There’s been a change of fragrance too
Well, sulphurs so outré
Seems Lily of the valley
Is the order of the day
We’re getting leather sofas, which
Could well be here quite soon
And a squad of decorators
Working hard in every room
Now they’ve fixed the air conditioner
It’s behaving as it should
Hell is rather pleasant
In fact it’s jolly good
So when you pop your clogs
And you’re deciding where to go
Forget the trip to Heaven
It’s much better down below
