With rhapsodic taps, startling beats
you do parkour upon my heart,
each thump pumping adrenaline
through readily receiving veins.
Keeping us alive with adventure,
you risk falling to oblivion,
thriving to revive priceless treasure.
Buoyantly flipping tricks through breezes,
you suavely sweep heartbeat streets
of villainous intruders,
saving your lady like a caped crusader.
Leaping beyond peaks of gleaming city lights,
your fingers dare reach for the rarest stars,
thumbing through infinity to seek
the uniquely perfect jewel
to piece into the sought mystery key hole
to open my heart's arcade of wonders.

FRAMING THE PIN-UP GIRL
His hands, they frame and catch, the pin-up girl.
Tanned hands, they're hot - he drops his sweaty palms.
Her lips - plum succulence. Hair’s suavely curl ~
a brilliant cinnamon. He has some qualms.
Approaches beauty queen with plastered smile.
She feigns to look away ~ that’s just her way.
Performance broken by his slipshod style.
Turns out, they're moon and sun ~ like night and day.
The opposite attract of belle and nerd,
A curative for broken-hearted ~ bliss.
A certain bit of trouble is assured.
Before the final curtain falls ~ love’s kiss.
He’s coy and lovable and kind of dreamy.
She’s brash and pushy but she’s rather steamy.

December Rain Dance
A drop of cold rain sneaks through the atmosphere,
Suavely mingling to the earth,
Lightly tapping the shoulder of the road;
Almost startling the road, causing a lonely spec of road dust to stir and turn its head
To meet the rain,
The drop asks the dust to dance,
And a powdery puff of water and dust leap into the air;
A soft, clean, wet waltz.
You can smell the rain and dust as they whirl across the dance floor.
It is the smell of fresh happiness—of love.
The dance starts slowly as the lovers are suspended in animation for a moment,
Wondering why it took so long, until December, for them to meet.
And then, everyone joins the dance--
A trillion dancers of rain and dust.
So many that the December lovers are nearly unrecognizable in the crowd of splashes.
When the dance is over the dancers lay down to rest,
Because the energy of their December rain dance is expended.
They melt into the berm and with them dissolves their affair.

Wind stream rider high in flight
Far beyond espy steady
Searching clouded obsidian
Peaks of loss and desire
Held closely to my sanity
Erupted in fears adrenaline
Rushing through feral blaze
Carrying that scent within epitome
Stilling me trepid emptiness drains
Into this eddy ripping my voice
Roaring passion inside echoes
Off my skull where solace blankets
Covering bodies waxy marring
My features hiding my dishonor
Whitewashed shame of lasting hope
Carried behind an icy azure
Suavely cold and hotly fevered
Illusions I carry eyes skyward
Probingly closed stifled straining
Catching your voice as you descend
From the heights of Daedalus down
Will I lay my ardors last vigor
Of a promise of eternal love holding
You close as you…
Fall to me.
