Step Out Poems | Examples

Premium Member At midnight I step out, like a shadow in the night

At midnight I step out, like a shadow in the night,
The sky is dark, and the cool wind caresses my alabaster skin,
The fresh air smells of freedom, a bittersweet luxury,
My skin blooms like spring, with shivers growing upon it.
One step. Another. Fragile steps on the path of doubt,
I wish to run with all my might, but I hesitate, I stop,
The stars smile at my fragile state, almost mockingly,
Every inch of skin yearns to get lost in this walk.
My mind is a chaos of whispers, speaking to me of the worst possibilities,
Monsters, fears, traumas overwhelm me,
I want to be free, but tears stream down my cheeks,
My mind and muscles remain in denial, like a silent confrontation.
The night sky, the strong air, and the trees shine without worry,
A sharp contrast to the storm raging inside me,
I turn back, rush to my room, and close the door. I sigh.
Will I ever be able to walk at midnight without armor of defense?
A universe of fear has been sealed within my soul,
But somewhere between shivers and stars, hope finds its way.

Premium Member Step Out of Her Way

She needs to go, she is more than ready.
She has been in pain for seven weeks.
Has not been able to lift her head for two of them.
Does not eat, is trying to go into the light.
Her relatives are having a difficult time letting her go.
They are enraged and outraged; withholding permission.
Thinking of themselves, not realizing what a faith she has.
She has already partially stepped into heaven.
She is more than ready; her pain is abundant.
They need to say “I love you", step back and out of her way.
Her wings are sprouting.

Step Out

If I say that I can’t do it anymore,
Will you be my anchor…
Or will you slip out from the backdoor?

If I let down my guard,
Will I have then earned your regard …
Or will you finally drop the charade?

If it’s all for one and one for all,
Then why do you always hide behind your wall?

You tell me to be myself, to be bold
Honestly, don’t your lies ever get old?

The world is a stage they say ,
That we are not here to stay..

And if that is the case,
Then why live in the fear of disgrace ?

Step out and breathe;
And look at what the ray of hope can seethe..

Now, what remains of these confines?
Are they anything more than a few blurred lines ?

And so, I ask you again ;

If I say that I can’t do it anymore,
Will you be my anchor…
Or will you slip out from the backdoor?

If I let down my guard,
Will I have then earned your regard …
Or will you finally drop the charade?

STEP OUT

There is a frequency we cannot connect with except we step out
There is a frequency that we can only connect with when we step out
Every step births illumination and grandparents another greater step
Legacy footsteps emerging from years and years of search and prep
The path of innovation is a lonely path darkened by ignorance
Till light dawns and never been done before becomes a chance
Only those who step out can encounter this virgin path
Growing to Indelible foot prints like the ancient legendary Gath
Therein is the higher waive beyond this terrestrial vibes
A greater level of knowing far beyond the learned scribes
There is a frequency we cannot connect with until we step out
There is a frequency that we can only connect with after we’ve stepped out
Like the spider begin to habitat higher heights with your web
The harvest will be bounty but the seed is in a step
Step out!!!

Step Out In Faith

The past is over!
The victory is yours!
Act like it!
Celebrate it!

God never consults your past
To determine your future!

All have sinned and come short
Of the Glory of god - so

Stop looking at where you’ve been &
Start concentrating on where you’re going!

Step out in faith &
Know that nothing
Is impossible for
Jesus Christ!

Luke 9:56

For the son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them.

Step Out Side.

You can see endless thoughts in there eyes,
a smile to hide such pain in side,
a jilted lover a burdens remain,
unwilling to open up and confide,

Spending their time playing a part,
unable to see the beauty of life,
worried that some one might know,
or see the hurt that cut like a knife,

Life's journey has many roads,
up hill battles even dark ghosts,
and as many judge some don't ,
many have drank the wine of life's toast,

Change is always at hand,
good or bad it's to adjust,
to right a wrong or keep pace,
we do it for life's lust,

look around and behold,
what you want you need to work for,
what hurts you need to change,
it is your journey now open the door.
