The sun still spills on the oranges' skin,
Bright as the lies we bury within.
The sea is patient, the palms still sway,
But silence gathers at the edge of the bay.
How many rules must the warm wind bear
Before it forgets how to kiss the air?
They scribble statutes in hurried ink—
Do they ever pause long enough to think?
Children dream under moonlit skies,
While lawmakers trade in their lullabies
For leashes on thought and tide.
Liberty wilts when shadows need not hide.
Let me lie down where the wild birds go,
Far from the noise of the men who know.
A law for this, a law for that—
But none to hush the diplomat.
Oh Florida, must you cage the breeze?

In the court of justice, where truth's pursuit reigns,
As a lawyer I stand firm, amid legal strains.
With scales of reason and a mind's keen might,
I navigate the corridors of justice's light.
Plaintiffs fire arrows attempting to confuse my sight,
So I craft arguments, striving for what's right.
In the hallowed halls where judgments decree,
My lawyer's voice echoes, setting innocent free.
With briefs as shields and statutes as swords,
I champion justice with relentless chords.
In the chambers of law, I weave my skills,
Defending the innocent to save them from ills.
Think of the clock chiming
its your homecoming
At home she's a tourist
filling the disco floor with virtue
her bourgeois extreme thrives,
transport yourself a new personality
brandish your interment interest
show your mental process
2 steps forward
6 back
At home she feels timid
there's no gang sweetheart
just the statutes of the once great
awaiting toppling
in dew clad desperate February

"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man." Ecclesiastes 12:13
I do keep You, and Your Word, Lord with all my heart
Being Your child whom You redeemed by wondrous grace
Since You declared Your love for me right from the start
Keeping my soul around Your compassion’s embrace.
As recipient of Your everlasting life seal
I keep You, and Your commands, Lord with all my heart
Nurtured with Your mercy and wondrous kindness’ zeal
Kept in Your perfect plan, I should never depart.
Surmounting trial-challenges and testing dart
My spirit You keep triumphant midst serene bliss
I keep You, and Your precepts, Lord with all my heart
Keeping Your promise in my well-being abyss.
Keeping great loyalty of fidelity zest
My faith does grow stronger along Your truth rampart
Fortifying my trust and covenant, so blest
I keep You, and Your statutes, Lord with all my heart.

Lament to cruise control..
Once in a while you see the natural
not a thief taking a spot to mental morph
their workboots into bare feet.
Transparency in their statutes,no strategies to tie their beliefs to thoughts and actions mimicking make believe.
the truth they feel they need
Constructing fences and walls to hide a plunder of lazy conspiracies
Everyday Everyday hiding everyday buckets of shrunking heads
A giant of warfare bullying, Freedom's a monster
who directs their belief into this is how you should be, but you cant look at me
because I hide behind the white walls of ice formed cement,my torn Jean's lament
Broken fears ,whispered ears
will never find a place to celebrate
Broken hearts, broken pockets
City conspiring no way to win
searching the dead for souls to win over
A giant, a good death,a soul trap
Theres just off and on
Walk before me now,
keeping my commands,
my statutes and my rules:
your throne shall be forever.
But if you turn aside,
go serving other gods,
then I will cut you off,
and cast you from my sight,
and all will be astonished,
and everyone will hiss,
why has the LORD done this?
And Israel will be
a proverb and a byword
abandoning the LORD
who brought them out of Egypt,
served other gods instead.
Blessing and protection,
severance and rejection,
carrot and a stick;
which one will you pick?

musings on 1 Kings 9:1-9
I remember the precious days of my life as a kid
The days of waking eagerly to greet the morning breeze
Where the sun smiled sweetly to greet the decent horizon
The skies were as clear and as fresh as the dawn
Where swimming on the river did not cause a disease
And fishing did not cause a notion of devastation
For everyone knew the bounds of their limits
The laws were adhered to whether statutes or common
Where working on farmlands was just like a hobby
And not much were blinded by the luster of a penny
Where the most precious thing was the purity of the breeze
And everyone revered the sanctity of the trees
Where fishes in the river swam together with the kids
And the cattle and the horses ran freely on the fields
Where the purpose of hunting was only for the needs
And no creature was killed just for merriments
Where the ladies wore a decent fashion
And everyone was dressed right for the occasion
Where every creature shunned exploitation
And no one was shamed just for greedy reason

Freedom is not a toy.
Freedom is not a lie.
Freedom is not a gift.
Freedom should not be a wish.
Freedom that our ancestors fought and died for.
Freedom to stop us from crawling on the floor.
Freedom created many wars.
Freedom secured by statutes and laws?
Freedom, of which so many stories tell.
Freedom, the difference between heaven and hell?
Freedom, to walk free on the streets and fields.
Freedom, without it we’re on our knees.
Freedom that they want to take away.
Freedom weakened day by day.
Freedom you thought it was here to stay?
Freedom…
oh no, not for me or you if the fascists have their way.
Consanguinity
Consanguinity is the characteristic of having a kinship with another person. Many jurisdictions have laws prohibiting people who are related by blood from marrying or having sexual relations with each other. The degree of consanguinity that gives rise to this prohibition varies from place to place. Such rules are also used to determine heirs of an estate according to statutes that govern intestate succession, which also vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. In some places and time periods, cousin marriage is allowed or even encouraged; in others, it is taboo, and considered to be incest.
