Kamala Harris VP Elect

November 3, 2020 the nation was blessed
Sister rising up from the depths of stress
Congratulations my sister on being the first
Black America's standard bearer has quenched our thirst

America witnessed history made before her eyes
The election results of a female silenced our cries
Vice President -elect Kamala Harris broke the glass ceiling
The offense of winning overshadows accusations of stealing

This country has thrown obstacle after obstacle in front of us
We went from riding the back of the bus, to driving the bus
Going from the outside looking in, to getting a prime seat at the table
Press on my sister, because we have confidence that you're able

Sister continue the journey of positive success
Stay focused and balanced and don't sweat the rest
Leadership is fair and balanced with the choice to select
Congratulations again sister Kamala Harris VP Elect

In dedication to the nation's first African American Female VP

Until the Mirror Cracks

The ego of the atheist,
himself the standard bearer
Where power of a mortal mind,
inflates beyond repair

His facts he weds intensely,
dimension fencing in
What’s not explained, he must profane,
all emptiness within

Whose formulas and strictures,
his Rosary to proclaim
What can’t be solved, new facts resolve,
dismissive in his shame

The ending predetermined,
his choices lock the door
Alone, his dialectic dies
—naked to implore

(The First Book Of Prayers: January, 2022)

On the Beat

Drummer boy and Drummer girl.
Creating echoes of emotions intentions.
Speak your mind in catchy unfurl.
In tantric mind pounding experi-dimension.
So happy they're not blades,
You're wielding.
I'm just saying, drummers are crazed.
Those sticks, instead, are an extensions of a quest for fire.
Kindling, I hope, for holy smoke of a heart emblazed.
Caroming over a glade overlooking desire.
Unbridled energy for getting your point to be made.
Shoehorning passions through my pounding head.
Up the irons! The likes of Nicko Mcbrain.
Standard Bearer of the Serenade;
Kim Iversen, what do you do for an encore?
Fight like a Standard Bearer, for the People of the U.S.A.

The Abdicate

Standard bearer,
above the fray

Others follow,
trackless fields

Trailing echo’s,
dead and gone

Then tomorrow
—tomorrow then

(Villanova Pennsylvania: August, 2020)

Premium Member Salacious Autumn Nights

This November I surrender
Baby touch me with your lovely finger tips
Now try your lips if its good to me I'll say it
This night is right like nights and nights ago
We're on our way to Paradise you sooth me
Salaciously breathe you are the standard bearer
Hear me RAW LOVE CELEBRATION at the door
How can I please you? Bodacious salacious
Cream of the Top the ONE. Beware I care
You bring the sting tell me you do I swear I've got
To have you once more you are fierce salaciously
Audacious me the epic moments of my heart
Pounding astounding I'll speak it sweet and easy
Believe me I'm delirious tell me when again

Say it baby whisper your desires your autumn
Dreams to me you are salacious I agree we're there
Tell me what you need open a window catch
The autumn breeze hey there since I'm yours then
You must be mine. its about that thing you cause
This is the night.
Spend your time with me.
You are my central line to devine melodiously
Salaciously adding to my every fantasy.
Ring my bells spend your nights in my DAYDREAMS
Touching me touching you we are salacious baby
For all of the stars to see SLEEP EASY MY LOVE

Dying In Drunk Love

The journal, the standard bearer of a secret life
The tears it took, all the years of wine
The writer, the cheating carer of a dying wife
Noting her decline, line by line

A jot in the journal and a fling of the flask
Then a visit to the wife is too much to ask
The journal is soggy and he is a sleep
The phone gets him groggy with a beep-beep-beep

Its the hospital she's in trouble!
He looks at himself quickly, at his unkempt stubble
He gets there too late though
But holds her high, then rests her low

Albacore

Tremolo vibrations mark this soar
like weight lines in my invisible cloak
urging more ardor as nerves implore
testimony heralding our sick joke

while packed within schools of baffled flesh,
nose to tailfin in mimicking motion
too fresh to witness the feeding thresh
since Bigger taints the ocean with devotion

with teeth that shred the lagging morsel
still ardent to thrive in bloody terror
as beaky stabs cut each brave dorsal
since error breaks through the standard-bearer

once coddled with such lofty ideals
and chased by relentless conformity,
he feels those arid surface appeals
until riddled by gull deformity.
