There was a time, when DIVORCE was, morally speaking, excess cargo. Divorce is much more acceptable today than just a few years ago. Remember when 'family values' was greatly highlighted in Presidential campaigns? Political winnings were up for grabs if you didn't know how to play the game. ADULTERY is not new, but it is not an acceptable behavior in our culture. It may be more widespread, but to cheat on one's spose is considered a failure. We can say that 'everybody lies', but LYING is by any respectable standard, unacceptable. Sometimes, 'flying low' goes unpunished, but most times, our fate is predictable.

Musings of a Bad Decision

I think the time has run,
It's fallen to its knees.
I think the time has gone,
I can hear its pleas.

It was all up in my arms,
Now it's cold opon the ground.
I was so very warmed,
Now I'm cold Irons bound.

Should I of waited when I knew,
An then acted so surprised.
There's not much I could do,
When I saw it in your eyes.

My head is full Of wasps,
They sting me as I sleep.
Butterflies in My guts,
sing to my heartbeat.

Nothing much to say,
Too many thoughts so loud.
Wouldnt hear me anyway,
Cus yours arnt about me now.

I just wish it wasn't this,
 hope was made for fools.
Live and let live,
Though I loose it all.

Storms all come To pass,
Before me in the glass.
Sunshine never lasts,
An im without a chance.

Blinded by my spite,
Deafend by a lie.
Tasteless words like spikes,
All set inside my spine.

Angels carry blades,
Hidden in thier wings.
Devlis cry alone,
About loss an broken things.

Where am I spose to go?
How am spose to be?
What am I spose to know?
Why is it on me?

I think the time has run,
It's fallen to its knees.
I think the time has gone,
I can hear its pleas.

Premium MemberBut You Have a Face

Aren't you 'spose to smile at me - - -
 - - - move your face to my eyes?
Nothin'? I surely wanna squeeze you
but ... for now ... I'll just touch on the tree.
         (My mouth wants to gum you
          using the best drool I can coo!)
~~~~~~~~~~~~
I cannot make you move but you have a face?
I'll just squeeze ground things and check their taste.
Undeclared
A valentine’s day ode
For all my bashful valentines
Who love me but can’t share it
Today’s a very special day
On which they can declare it
Was I just forgetful
Did I drink too much gin
I meant to take the door off
So the sacks could be thrown in
But as I sit here patient
And the hours go so fast
The postman must be rushing
Cos the bugger drove on past
I spose he felt quite jealous
But now he’ll be ecstatic
That all of my admirer’s cards
Are hidden in his attic
But thankfully I got one card
It’s stood there on that shelf
No need to trust the postman
I ‘sent’ that one myself
Raay Poetry - Infinity
beyond outer space...
face the facts there's more...
sure... infinity...
believe... there's no end...
bend your heads, read on...
long before the bang...
hang on... for that's true...
cue... solar system...
mentioned... universe...
past our history...
before it begun...
hunger for knowledge...
edging ever close...
spose... no look... no find...
Breaking a Habit
Breaking a habit to breaking a rule.
Breaking a rule, shooting a muel.
Breaking a habit like nightly drool.
If I were to jump, but you placed the stool;
Will you have delved into a lukewarm pool?
Or might you've sat back and acted all cool?
'Spose I should know it'd be breaking a rule.
But breaking a habit isn't breaking a rule.
A CHILD’S CONCERN
Guess he was ninety years old
Had a cat that died, so we were told
Accordin to dad, his name was Ralph
And old Ralph liked to talk to his self
He sat on the porch every day
Watchin people pass along the way
Old Ralph was so old his wrinkled skin
I would swear was fallin off of him
One day I got close enough to hear
Some gargled talk, “Oh, my Tabby dear.”
My Tabby dear was his old dead cat
I’m smart enough to figer out that
I spose he talked to others too
But no one that my daddy knew
People listened then hurried along
Shakin their head at the old ding dong
Postman told me old Ralph’s day was past
Even dead old Tabby gone at last
No one left for this lonsome old coot
I guess no one really give a hoot
Porch now is empty, sign on the door
Ralph won’t be freakin people no more
Dad says he’s up in heaven somewhere
Hope lonesome old Ralph finds Tabby there
Love Is Such a Strong Word
i dont wanna see u frown,
i dont wanna just seee u smile, i want u to stair at me and know that u willl love me for a long while,
when i see u walk down my street my heart always skips a beat knowing that im in love while there is nothing between us,
but there will be a day when i stop holding that thought,
 that maybe u will walk to my house holding a ring and making ur lovely spose,
my heart screams out i love you but i hear nothing back,
it kinda feels like im being attacked by a love that will stab u in the back
Email 2 An Ex Chrissy
spose you will ignore me old friend,
but twenty years you smiled,
i was never perfect,
but we travelled many miles,
i have 3 people who won't know me,
mark john and diana, vile,
i know you want your privacy,
gets lonesome just sometimes.
Pickles Graham
Pickles Graham 1950
In the kitchen of a large sheep station in western Queensland
at Dirranbandi the boss lady was talking to the staff.
She was going to the ball that evening and was parading about,
in her evening wear, and scarf.
Finally it came, her turn to speak to Pickles Graham.
She said, looking down her long nose.
"do you dance Pickles?."
"No missus, I spose"
“Oh” she said "You must dance Pickles?"
Pickles scratched his bonzer nose.
He said "Well yes missus,
I do the Bullockys polka missus, I  spose"
"Oh" she said pretending interest, yawning,
"What is it, how does it go."
"Well” said Pickles, lightly performing.
"You grab the ladies and swing them quick
shake them, till dung flies out like bricks"
Termite Whiteant Fix
Termite/Whiteant fix
Out in west Queensland,
Lived  a white ant pestered man,
Cos the white ants were attacking ,
Chomping on his house quite grand.
They seemed to love the skirting boards,
And would climb to get in em,
There in millions billions bloody hordes,
What would he do with dem?
He was poor as a church mouse,
To get em treated cost a few hundred,
Maybe could make not taste as grouse.
So onward then he blundered.
Some of the country boys,
Squirted diesel in the walls
To hit old white ant on the bearers n stumps.
Like a bee box buzzed the swarm.
They didn’t like the diesel taste,
He’d used a super soaker sorta,
Water pistol worked quiet well,
As I spose it oughta .
Country people swear by it,
 the diesel 4 the termite,
one place he hit a nest a bit,
they buzzed the hypocrites,
will they return to nibble on,
the 4 inch timbers mate,
or will they stagger away,
get timber tasty for their plate?
Christmas Becomes Xmas
No one has to shop in stores
in a way I spose that's fine
"The heck with old tradition"
let's all shop - On-Line!
No more exchanging seasons pleasantries
with other people that you meet
as you go from store to store
as you travel down the street.
They've eliminated creativity
when you just buy stuff off the shelf
it has so much more meaning
when you design it by yourself!
It used to be such fun to see
the imagination some folks had
with their clever decorations
some great, some not so bad!
What once was Christmas season
a Holy time of year
has gotten so commercial
it's more like - Xmas time - I fear!
Technology is wonderful
in it's time and place
but it has dampened Christmas spirit
which is simply a disgrace!
Now it's artificial Christmas trees
plastic wreaths and such
sure it makes decorating easy
but it don't feel like Christmas much!
