Spectacles Of Love

Flower does not bloom right away
It start with a green contour in the stem
Then, slowly enlarge its mound
Force a little of showing its tip
Another day giving its first outburst
On early morn the first color bright
Which welcome the early bee first sip
To the early waterer brings an early grin
Care a lover that wears a morning romantic smile.

Sight

Since I was little I have always had to figth,
With horrible myopic sight.

I can see OK if I wear my glasses,
The problem is they are as thick as vases.

When I was young I went without glasses trying to look cool,
But I'd trip over something and look like a fool.

Although my sights poor it's the sense I couldn't do without,
Without sight the world would be black and I could not bear this without any doubt.

Spectacles

Blinking dazedly, she drifts through the roads
Sometimes a light sparkles and then it fades
Her eyes view the world
Like an astigmatic sees the lights on the street
What does she want?
The clear young girl lost her sight.
Clarity moved away for hazy views.
A prescription so dearly needed.
Hospital ques seem endless.
The ultimate view seems forever beyond her grasp
And thus she loses her balance.
Arms flailing to catch on and feel,
She wonders if this is all her life would be.

The Science teacher told his eager class
"Alas, I can’t read without my eye glass
In rest room, left my testicles"
What he meant was ‘spectacles’
The children broke into laughter en masse

For the short-sighted
People say
Put on your spectacles
You will see the world clearer
Without the spectacles
You will lose it before your eyes
Even then you can't see clearer
People's hearts with your spectacles
But one thing not to forget
You can see the heart of god
With or without spectacles

Premium MemberThere's a Bloke In This Cafe Wearing Heart-Shaped Spectacles

there's a bloke in this cafe wearing
heart-shaped spectacles

they're a mauve slash purple colour
but they're not your franklin bi-focals

john hegley said you could trust
a man in glasses (big time)

harry angstrom felt naked
wearing glasses

his posture is overblown
he's sampling his tea genially

with an extensive face
he's immersed in his smartphone

like that horse that needed lenses
rothschild with his zebra carriage

there were no heart-shaped glasses
on the hill in calvary

my four-year-old-son told me
he wanted to eat my glasses

The Man With the Fanatic Spectacles

His spectacles were fanatic,
The way his cool sea - blue eyes peered through them.
The way even they couldn’t help but gleam when he smiled.
The black frames brought more mystery to his beautiful façade.
Oh, how I would fall for his charismatic verses over and over again.
Oh, how his rhymes, like roaring ocean waves, could both exhilarate me and horrify me.
Like his catfish hanging helplessly on a fishing wire,
His eye beaming through the frames of his glasses
Joyous of his catch,
So I would bite the bait over and over again
Just to gaze on the man with the fanatic spectacles.

When a chickie says “I can handle it” what comes to mind
Bet you think she's ready for all comers, a go-er defined
What do you mean suggestive
Depends on your perspective
New spectacles will help to admire her yummy behind

Spectacles

I got new spectacles and it is pleasant,
The crystalline glasses shields my eyes from its rivals,
Its assets augment my sight,
Its wide frame broadens my vision of the environment,
And its reflecting skills hide my hopeless eyes.

Spectacles

A closer gaze
Yet they see not
A keener look
Clarification not found
What is to be
To see this bleakness
Cataract covering up their eyes

They couldn't see
What traitors around

Spectacles!
Spectacles of the mind
Let lenses be attached to their eyes
All they need is spectacles

The Painted Spectacles

The morning sunlight flooded into the room,
From far away a cuckoo could be heard -
Heralding the advent of spring
When flowers would bloom.

The sky was a bright blue,
The fields were lush green,
And the colourful houses
All of varied hues.

At one corner of the room lay -
A pair of "Painted" Spectacles,
In the shadow of an almirah
Throughout the day.

Oh! What a thing are the Painted Spectacles!
When the sky looks gloomy, it seems so blue,
When the fields are barren, they look green
Really, they cause such miracles!

However, life is not SUCH a spectacle -
It is instead the decision whether,
We want them or not,
Whether, we want to get rid of our obstacles.

And then comes a time,
When life is pulled away from life;
And we, reduced to certain despair -
Life becomes nothing but grime.

So, although the jolly day inflicted no pain,
But the mind could not find any hope;
At a corner, the Painted Spectacles lay,
Perhaps never to be put on again.

Spectacles of Imagination

Thoughts floating, surrounding reality with its own unique voice. Keeping your focus distracted from the on goings of this life. Little spectacles of imagination & words, images, meanings of today's, yesterday's, and tomorrow's constant reminders of little clouds of thought .....

The Reversed Spectacles

Today as I got up and climbed down the stairs
Suddenly I tripped, and went upside down
Received minor bruises, some splits in my hair
But what’s more important, I looked like a clown
Suddenly I noticed all the world gone crazy
Men looked like kids and kids went busy
In patting their own backs, and sneering at others
While adults fought over candies and snatching their brothers’
Young ladies basked in neck-ties and collars
They had their curves flattened using road rollers
Meanwhile their boyfriends sported latest bikini range
Why belles didn't leer at them, they found it strange
Traders rushed madly to pay up their taxes
Celebs attending funerals, their tears ran excess
I rightfully felt aghast, because all a nightmare
I put off my specs, and that gave me a scare
My specs were downwards up, looked incisively hopeless
To set its focus rightly in this urban wilderness.

Spectacles

Show me who you are and i shall paint out broken columns on the valleys of her back as if such figure is un-common
i have found no beauty bending as the vines that are her hair and the frailty of man upon her back is what she bares
bleed her body for the harvest let them feast upon her soul for the nurishment of mother is leaps beyond so bold
she is like the flower growing in the deepest of dark forests, amongst the ivy and hemlock but her skin is much too porous
to concern herself with games that tantalize the men, as they marry on crusade it is her children that she tends
sheath your swords with her ambition and tip your arrows with her will, craft your armour from her strength and in the battle you will kill
come now children from the pasture and lay each upon her side, suckle gently at your mother although theirs pain she does not hide
though the water leaks from rooftops her leaves are thick and block the rain, as the water level rises cling to her branches with no shame
she is the stone upon the beach, once a mountain pound and breached
yet still her disposition clear to love her children that are near
