You'd tilt cartons under your nose;
milk missed your mouth and cooled my toes.
Droplets have hardened when they've seeped
under the bed, the run now steeped
in stickiness since you've been gone.
If shadows sleep, mine has withdrawn
under the bed asleep like dust
when squeaks wake up the bedframe's rust.
Your absence forces me to yank
the mattress off to scour the rank
sourness and rough smattering
of crumbs, the stuck broom battering
lampshades reddening my eyes , beets
as if I am a ghost in sheets
circling a glass bowl's facedown rim
embedded in the dust grown dim.

Death, faded memory to nothing
Emptiness bares the skin's reflected pain
Eyes of the soul's depths
Pains torcher drives its fiery
Personality rage to desire temptation
What is a soul except its being
Buried beneath the dirt fields
Where which that comes from the sun feeds
Heart to feel such anguish emotion
Like salt to a wound the burn
The faded soil, winters toll
Reality withering improvisation of dreams
A simpler love for life's ambition
Sourness of the wind crinkle still
Life's storm, space traveler amongst us
In another place, where we are
Not ourselves but somebody, something
What drives this beast out darkness
So loved am I who walks light
That its deception perceives me
Where in my depths I hide feeling
My heart wicked to minds perceptive
Or in our own thought one breathes
Reflection, stillness within life gives warmth
Aspire dreamer to what one is to be

There is no need to complain about the sourness of other's grapes everytime. If you can plant your own, then do it, and hope that its fruit is sweeter.
In plain sense, other than minding other people's work and complaining from time to time, make your own if you really can and aim to be better.
Besides, you can only say that the grape is sour is if it is not yours.

Bark not on things you can't understand
And on the things that you can't do;
Don't dive blindly into a water
Without knowing its depth.
Just leave a grape when it is sour
You don't need to bark about its sourness.
But if you want to have a sweet grape
Better learn to plant your own.

If it was not for poetry,
I would have been lost like a ghost
In the dungeon of loneliness
And prison of being alone.
Where blind hearts are callous and rough,
Poetry gave me a shelter
Against sourness and bitterness
Of minds confined within a box.
Poetry stirs the blood in me
And cheers me up like a wake song
When my heart faints against the storm,
And my lost soul wanders to roam.
Poetry gives me a new home,
Wings and shields, and leaning shoulders,
Morning sunshines and guiding stars,
And a world I can call my own.

Do you ever wish you could give life a break,
Just disappear for a while without a big smile that's fake,
Just sometimes it's just too much to take,
Sometimes, sometimes I wonder the same thing,
I don't want to feel the sting,
Life gives you lemons,
but nothing to make lemonade
No sugar to sweeten the bitter retrograde,
Just let me fade,
It's just too dark to hide in the shade,
The shadows are to dark,
To withhold this facade,
So much misery and dismay,
Sometimes,
Sometimes I wish I can make a decision,
Just not to wonder if it's all a mistake,
Sometimes,
Oh just sometimes,
I want to take life in stride,
Have someone to confide,
These demons that take control,
These desires of letting unfold,
Destroy, and coil,
The sourness of the bitter end,
To recoil,
defend a world that never meant anything to me at all

"Life's problems will be a little less bitter if we
sweeten sour lemons with the right attitude."
~ quote by poet
There are moments in our lives, perhaps days
when we thirst to leave our troubles behind.
A bitter taste upon the tongue that stays
'til a sweeter flavor we seek and find.
The cliche' about making lemonade
is great advice that everyone should take.
Life can be more delicious when it's made
without sourness when its our thirst we slake.
Lemonade, a metaphor used to show
that bad situations can become good.
Plant a symbolic tree and watch it grow
into something much better. Understood?
Sweet lemonade served with a sprig of mint...
The drink leaves an indelible imprint.

Lagoon of life, lake of man
Bitterness in life, salt of man.
Sourness or sweetness, salt of the tongue
Harvest of the young, actions of man
Sourness of tongue, sweetness of the stung
Sweetness of the unsung, sourness of the dung.
Bitterness of man, life's crucifix
Burden of follies, puff of the lung
Burden of life, crux of crucifix
Flux of follies, marks of cicatrix.
Innocence of man, lake of salted life
Influx of mother's womb, gift of Matrix.

Sweetness and sourness of life
depends on the seasoning of emotions.
We are blessed with the gift of birth,
but our thoughts are processed
using different ingredients.
We all explore paths to euphoria,
but passengers we pass by,
sprinkle their own nourishing memories,
upon our picnic of existence.
Pain persecutes everyone,
despite the diversity of
gender, colour or faith,
but it tastes the same.
Yet love is never the same flavour.
Romantic aromas can leave bitter side effects.
Vibrations of a heart breaking,
sound the same, but some cracks are deeper,
some wounds heal quicker -
some forever remain.
Delicacy of regret is one we never forget.
It's embroidered on our tongues,
reflecting through bitter breaths,
as flashbacks echoing in dark corridors,
resemble rotting cuisine.
Our essence is simply cultivated fodder,
within a vulnerable universe,
feasting on a substance of snacks,
awaiting our best before date.

Spilling my tears,
drying my inner river
washing my soul inside
This I do when I laugh...
When I laugh with an opened smile
when I clean out sourness
I feel lucky on the outside
and renewed within... !

I'm just talking as if I don't know
how to put the weight of mistakes
on the scale anymore
a kind of beneficial oblivion
capable of sweetening the sourness of mistakes
maybe I found the right way
to lovingly tamper with disappointment
decreasing the violence of his damage
and bringing it to a comfortable size
so that it fits in my jeans pocket
and allows me to parade one more time like this:
the washed face of one
who blindly trusts the very lie of his redemption

I am doing the best I can today
I’m kind in spite of people’s dourness
Smiling no matter what, merry and gay
Uplifting strangers and their sourness
Secret weapon is my gorgeous smile
A happy hello cherry and merry
I walk six blocks or maybe a mile
Then I reach my neighbor old man Harry
I know the stories of those in my town
Tended to many in clinic you see
I give them a smile even when they frown
For they are all dear and lovely to me
It brings me up and makes me feel kind
It refreshes my heart, rejuvenates my mind.
