We all get busy in our lives, so it is always nice that you are being remembered...

Sweetness and sourness of life depends on the seasoning of emotions. We are blessed with the gift of birth, but our thoughts are processed using different ingredients. We all explore paths to euphoria, but passengers we pass by, sprinkle their own nourishing memories, upon our picnic of existence. Pain persecutes everyone, despite the diversity of gender, colour or faith, but it tastes the same. Yet love is never the same flavour. Romantic aromas can leave bitter side effects. Vibrations of a heart breaking, sound the same, but some cracks are deeper, some wounds heal quicker - some forever remain. Delicacy of regret is one we never forget. It's embroidered on our tongues, reflecting through bitter breaths, as flashbacks echoing in dark corridors, resemble rotting cuisine. Our essence is simply cultivated fodder, within a vulnerable universe, feasting on a substance of snacks, awaiting our best before date. Silent One 13 August 2022

I feel we are meant to cross paths with different people in our life to make us who and what we become. Some will have good effects on us and others will teach us lessons we need to learn. Well written. love phyl

Silent One, I am surprised I didn't comment in August, but then I remembered that I was not on here for quite a while myself. I've thought of the concept that we are passengers as well, riding along in our people machines, and our existence in this sphere is only for a short time. I'm happy to have at least met you passing through this site! I love your poetry book, and when I am not on-site, and you are rarely on here, I still have your poetry, and think of you, hoping you're well.

Bitter tastes can be left with a loved one, unintentionally, but once something nasty is said, there can be no regret, even if it was said in the heat of a moment and results in heart break for the tongue is sharp - some can heal quicker but some never! SO, congratulations on your POTD! "Twilight Aurora" 7/15/17 10481 reads and your first post is just as amazing as this gem. I noticed this under one of the poets comments and I agree with it. (Your note at the end of poem is a bit shocking to read. I never thought such things would be happening here... Seems like humans all over the world are same. education level, age, literature etc. do not bring a change in nature of man. Better ignore) Best ~Anaya
