Stars Above They Shine For You

The stars above they shine for you
Since that dreadful day you died
Since that dreadful day I’ve cried
For my heart it almost broke in two
Looking skyward I can see
the stars are shining down on me
Your smile in every starlit night
Assures me son that you’re alright
You’re now with souls who passed before
Those souls were there at heaven’s door
To welcome you
To heal your soul
To be with you forever more
So now when I look up above
Each night I blow a kiss my love
A kiss for you
A kiss for Dad
Remembering all the love we had
Each night before I go to bed these words I sing inside my head
*Look at the stars, look at how they shine for you and everything you do…

*Look at the stars, look at how they
shine for you and everything you do ...

You're a jewel, bereft compare
Hewn of star stuff, rich and rare

Uniquely shaped to beautify
       Adorning, bright, a yawning sky

Seeded concept - bosom's bloom
Sparked to essence in life's womb

Perfecting flaws as humans do
Yet no one else, the perfect You

So tremble not with mortal awe
       If fed resplendent, virtue's maw

Meant to hasten priceless wings
       Borne through time's meanderings

Yearn to pierce the great expanse
And twirl to dust, your final dance

That latent shore of Heaven's sand
This precious life is yours, in hand ...

This precious life ... is YOURS.

VALENTINE, BE MINE

"Look at the stars, look at how they shine
for you and everything you do."
Look, watch that one realign
of hundreds breaking thru.
It’s a stellar sign,
for Valentines.
I hope to
make you
mine.

Premium Member - Yellow Boots Sing -

A long time ago
A little boy - he was only three
Blue eyes and hair white like snow
            The sun was his playmate
            The rain was his enemy
            Drip, drip wet and cold
            He asked for YELLOW boots
Yellow boots wondered his mom and dad
Boys use blue or black boots
No - YELLOW they had to be
The boy in just three years got new YELLOW boots
First rainy day the boy was ready
            Drip, drip wet and cold
YELLOW boots are singing - they will sing the sun back
            Under his big black umbrella
the boy goes with his singing YELLOW boots
This little boy was my brother

Yellow Cloud of Myth (Angel of Sadness)

Dancing strong is my yellow cloud of myth
To whom do I belong?
I want to say to this yellow cloud of myth
It was all an opportunity for a higher grade
Musical appreciation, I guess I’m now finer behaved
I met her my freshman semester
Through her eyes I see stress can bless her
On her toes, for she prefers both highs and lows
I guess I never paid her much attention
In the arms of a future friendship
This hazard could have been a crushed prevention
But dancing strong is my yellow cloud of myth
To whom do I belong?
I want to ask this yellow cloud of myth
She kept it real
As if she were an addiction I repped her pills
And as I entered this auditorium
I could see on their faces this was boring according to them
As I took my place among my college crowd
As if I had a sense of humor
I smirked as I thought of mythology a loud
As the play continued
My weary eyes searched the menu
And just as I began to gnaw away
Like a cloud of darkness she flawed my day
There she was dancing strong
This yellow cloud of myth
