“The aforesaid five objects, which are the negative attributes of the five electricities, being combined produce the idea of gross matter in its five forms: Ki, solids; Ap, liquids; Tejas, fire; Marut, gaseous substances; and Akasa, ether.
These five forms of gross matter and aforesaid fifteen attributes, together with Manas, Mind, sense consciousness; Buddhi, discriminative Intelligence; Chitta, the Heart or power of feeling; and Ahamkara, the Ego, constitute the twenty-four basic principles of creation.”
~ extract from ‘The Holy Science’
In the realm of heaven, our eye is single
but with no adversities to overcome,
so the one becomes two and then they jingle
propelled by the power of the cosmic hum
and in the five elements they commingle,
ego distanced from heart, though soul is welcome.
Poised thus in subject-object relationship,
we discover God when love is our flagship.

We all love love, but all agree
that friction is our enemy:
when all slides nicely, that’s the thing!
Of lubrication do I sing.
The oil of primrose, asphodel,
or axle grease, or KY Gel,
one substance that the people hunt
will always be a lubricant.
In Kokomo, Kalamazoo,
rubbing, scraping, just won’t do.
If you’re from Oshkosh or Duluth,
you know the truth – it must be smooth.
When solids meet, before, behind,
they’re bound to shudder, judder, grind.
So crush those olives, pound that seed –
the lubricant is what we need!

There is matter everywhere around us,
From tea to cups.
It is something which has volume and mass,
Present in three naturally occurring states of solid, liquid and gas.
Solids have a definite shape and volume,
With maximum density that is mass per unit volume.
They resist the flow,
From toe to hoe.
They do not get compressed,
thereby, there melting and boiling point are at the crest.
Liquids have fixed volumes but indefinite shape,
Whenever kept in any container acquire its shape.
They flow but do not get compressed,
With intermediate forces of attraction, density and kinetic energy, they are blessed.
Gases have neither fixed volume nor shape,
from anywhere they can escape.
They have minimum forces of attraction and density,
But they have maximum rate of fluidity and compressibility.
These are the state of matter,
Invented by our Mother Nature.

Abandoned Yellow Star,
Existential apostle.
Solar flares haunt outworlds, "I'm It, you're not."
Mercury, Mary's star loved from afar.
Hot but not the hottest star.
A tiny lifeless star.
Venus will have more sunlight in her hair.
Acid clouds, corrosive ground.
A great task, you won't last.
Mars, Ray Bradbury's & Poe's summer home.
Famed Martian golf balls canals.
Mountain Mons view Earthsets.
Jupiter planet King.
Juno caught clouds aided by sprites and elves.
It passes gas, no solids.
Saturn, Trump's hide-a-way post Mar-La-Go
Eyes like Godiva's, you'll see.
Ocean moon, life likely.
Uranus ... home planet of many Ex's.
Twenty years long each season.

Neptune ice-cold Hunter.

The joker had the most fabulous fashions around
So many things were striped, no solids were found.
He was wearing polka dots and had flower stickers too.
Clothing of every gorgeous color, shade and hue.
A miniature elephant was doing a circus trick.
Showing off next to his circus tent so thick.
The joker and beast gave each other a friendly nod.
Just another wonderful day in the land of Vaude.

Sugar, you temptress, you hide everywhere
In many a form you never play fair
You sneak in my life like a thief in the night
Stealing my breath with every sweet bite
Making me long for your taste everyday
From the moment I wake, I’m your gullible prey
A ‘dangerous substance’ is what you should be
With red and bold letters, for innocents to see
There is not a food where your charms are not found
Queen of addictions, you should have been crowned
More forms than a demon, you use to deceive
You change your appearance, to make me believe
Liquids and solids, and all in between
Your arrogant invasion, at the least, very keen
In every known texture, you’ve come to exist
Creamy or hard, too many to list
At breakfast, lunch, dinner, you always control
Little by little, you’re taking a toll
No matter the food, you always are there
You’ve caught me at times in your devilish snare
I’ve seen you appear on some labels, three times
In a court you’d be guilty of three separate crimes
Sugar, you temptress, I’m watching for you
And the very next time when you make your debut

Smooth sweet delicious memories
Awaken the beautiful mysteries of my mind,
And trapses through my musings
Without even a notion of bitter taste.
Sing with me the most succulent songs
That linger with absolute tones
Of magnificence and splendor
Just as the rise of my hastening heartbeat
Continues along the current of my veins,
And my satiated body tingles
While the most agreeable tastes delight,
And the awe of its mere existence
Enriches like the savory first bite
Surrounding itself with unnecessary resilience
Without the populace quiet awareness.
Yes love is like chocolate the people exclaim
As out of various hues of brown erupt
Just enough light to capture what was hidden
Beneath the richness of sugary beauty
Where solids mollify and are eagerly swallowed
Delivering deep affection for all that is.

The Moon becomes closer,
My cogitations remain jumbled
I escaped the town a while ago
The festering wounds did not heal
Nothing could usher me backward
The surviving solids stayed held tight
All my affections are still within me.
I cannot reckon the stain has gone
My mind was blind, but my heart knew
A load of despair hangs on my neck
Why did you believe this agenda would work?
All efforts to turn desire into love failed.
I am navigating the sea of nothingness,
Turning sweepingly, feet whirled
I bestowed the fluid into a frenzied whirl
Above, gentle waves touch the neck
They threatened me while I was still smiling
There were no signs of land in the vicinity
My toes are itching, and my feet are squirming
A strong will is our only chance for survival.

damona and i write a book
everyday is not the same
whether we are under the sun
whether we are in the rain
we choose to help others who are in pain
the smiles that we inspire help us to cope
when we make a day better for someone, it makes our day
the situation of damona and i is never the worst
God is the Ultimate Tour Guide
He says to call him Mr. Calavicci
what Mr. Calavicci shows damona and i so broadens the spectrum of our walk
the things that we complain about are rather quite minuscule each time we hear phrases called 'talk'
we continue our walk with Cherished Charity now as a Central Theme
paying it forward is the hippest trip, a vacation like a dream
damona with her blueblack tongue and i in my hat of the day
walk on to the next place Mr. Calavicci guides us....a Renewed Purpose in vast array

"Snow ??"
(Verse 1)
It comes down as a flurry
Then it comes as sleet and snow
It's a beautiful image for sho
It shows you the steps and the procedure
To turn liquids into solids
Somewhere you have to apply your knowledge
What happens when the snow melts
And you left with the ice
You have to be precatious
You have to sacrifice
So you want slip up
And fall
But if you do
Get back up and stand tall
(Chorus)
The snow comes down
It looks so peaceful
Is it safe and sound
The snow is a winters storm
Just know it won't cost you harm
(,Verse 2)
Put on your gear
Your shirt your pants
You sock your shoes
Maybe some boots
Don't forget the hat
Can't go outside without that
You have to be fully clothed
Let this weather
Know you're in control
You go out there and build
Snow man, Snow Angel
Snow tracks
Have fun doing it
Don't lack
Don't be sad , because of the storm
This will pass over won't mean you no harm
(Chorus)
The snow comes down
It looks so peaceful
Is it safe and sound
The snow is a winters storm
Just know it won't cost you harm

(A COLLABORATION BY ROBERT JAMES LIGUORI AND NATASHA L SCRAGG)
It is in ponds, streams and rivers,
And also in lakes and oceans.
Sometimes it stands still,
But mostly it's in motion.
From the air, it will say hello,
From a dreary sky
Showering you with love.
No longer you'll be dry!
Nothing is more refreshing
Than a glass of this wonderful water;
Even without sugar, lemon, ice and bubbles,
For which you'd have to order.
Water slides or kayaking,
With water rolling over rocks.
Sometimes it's safe to engage,
Other times it's with feisty crocs!
The waves stir up emotion.
They impress us with their power,
Mighty, majestic and strong,
Their crash causes a foamy shower.
Water is also relaxing.
Think of that warm soak in the bath...
Water is used in playtime, for fun,
Squirting water at your friends - then you laugh!
Water is a force to be reckoned with -
Poetry in motion, as it were!
Its exotic reflection of the sky above,
One cannot help but stare!
Water can transform
Into solids and to gas...
Let's top up our water vessels.
To water, raise a glass!

A stifling calm hung over the enlivened eve,
Across the gulf of years and time,
Ambitions and aspirations shivered into solids and dust,
I must have existed here before now.
It's hard to cry, complain and die soon,
I'm familiar with the earthly pain and joy,
Doubts didn't beset my lonely and daring soul,
Amid the direful calamities of existence.
But if the truth be told,
I wish to be reincarnated in the air you breath,
So as to always be with you
Until your dying day.
But now the truth is sold,
I'm now like a thorn in the flesh,
With words entwining you in thraldom,
Because I've murdered the fear of death,
Since my only fear is coming back reincarnated.

Drove a rusting
beat up truck
never had money
forget about luck
life went from bad
to worse for me
until I got arrested
now living's free
3 solids a day
hot showers daily
the man says jump
I do so gladly
look rough on the outside
a loser inside
not much left
on the other side

while experimenting
with flavors
Doctor Sinister
developed
a flavor the world may
have been waiting for.
He dehydrated cucumbers,
onions,garlic, and
a seedless tomato with liquid smoke.
he used a food processor to
to grind them, when he had a powder
he mixed it with dehydrated buttermilk solids
he added some cayenne pepper.
he used it to season ground beef.
he made a egg sourdough and made
hamburger rolls.
when these were done he
combined them making a wonderful
flavored hamburger.
he used cheddar to accent the flavor.
lettuce and tomato, minced onions
two slices of bacon.
and slathered the toasted
bun with thousand island dressing
he called it
The Rhine Carte Burger.
He wasn't finished
he used the same cucumber powder, oion mix
in a sourcream sourdough bread
what did you expect?
well he got knowthing but great results.
come on down to our resturant
and get yo'self sum of dat grub!"

Evergreens clasp the grounded earth
Roots dig in to hold firm their homes
Deep enough to keep them in one place
At rest, rocks know they are alone
As cold solids not going anywhere
The Forest fullness hides the wild
Hungry animals awake, instincts on display
Hunting for whatever comes their way
Bunnies sense the danger, wriggle noses
They are not afraid to run away
Stealth gives them confidence to escape
Shadowed by sins they have committed
Wolves howl at the moon at midnight
Having nothing better to do
It is the humble mushroom pondering
With caps intact, with spongy stems at tilt
Side by side below the evergreens
Just sitting there and just as wild growing
